what do you think is better for weight loss, walking or running?
I've been reading some conflicting information about walking vs running for weight loss. Some studies say running burns more calories per minute, but others mention that walking for longer periods can be just as effective and easier to sustain. I've also seen research suggesting that moderate intensity exercise like brisk…

Theyre tight when my foot is flat and don’t move much past that. looking for…

TDEE Exercise
So when I’m answering the option regarding exercise, I’m unsure what to tick. I walk on average 12000 steps each day. 7500 on the treadmill and the remainder things like school run, walk to village shop and general walking round the home doing chores, etc. Would I class thus as moderate exercise?

Is there a Steps Group or Thread?
I'm looking to meet others who are struggling and to motivate each other. Is there a group or thread where people share their steps at the end of the day? It helps me to stay on track when I see others dealing with similar struggles.

I am 5’4 and have loss 20 pounds since March 1st. I walk on the treadmill 30 minutes on a 10 incline 3.0 speed 3-4 times a week. I also do strength training afterwards. My goal is fat loss. Should I start jogging? Or should I continue to walk?

Orangetheory, MFP, and vegan
I've found I NEED exercise to keep my diet on track. I finally got my weight back to where I'm comfortable since the pandemic. I could be a little lighter for health reasons, but I've been yo-yo-ing since the Transformation challenge ended. I decided to brainstorm with an OTF coach on what I could improve to stop this…

Hi. I'm looking at buying a Merach Q1SW magnetic rowing machine. I want to split my cardio between rowing and a stationary bike so I don't get bored. Hi 👋 I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but my steps aren't tracking in the app? I've got my Smart Watch connected along with the Samsung Health app (selected in MFP as primary tracking app), but it's still at 0 every day. Just to confirm, I am doing steps 😅 has anyone else had this? Thank you 😊

Not sore from strength training anymore
So, I’ve been strength training twice a week for about 3 weeks now and I am no longer sore after my workouts. Is this a sign I’m getting stronger and need to up my weights or should I just keep going the way I am? I guess I’m wondering if you have to be sore after a workout for it to be effective.

Disabled + Rowing Obese Class I (BMI 32.6), 68 years, w/ MS and bad hip repair ???
