Changes to definitions and advice
I'm putting this up mainly for discussion and I haven't triple checked the numbers and all that. Something Ann mentioned in a post about changes to definitions, together with people getting higher goals prompted me to re-check a maintenance setup based on various "activity level" options. MFP used to be based on Mifflin…

Is this a good thing?
This is my first day logging food and I'm unsure if my result below is a good thing or not?? Should I be eating a bit more perhaps - I felt like I ate plenty today! Calorie Goal = 1400 Calories eaten = 1309 Less exercise = 1280 Calories remaining 1371!

Menopausal Journey
Happy to say that I don't have the "HAWT" flashes or the mood swings. I am past my pre-menopausal and have entered the menopausal for 3 years now... so its been 6 years so far. My only concern is that no exercise or diet seems to be working for the bodily expansions. I am not giving up, but a little co-inspiration towards…

Calories on dashboard and weight loss goal
I put my goal as losing 1 pound a week, and slightly active. The dashboard says 2300 calorie goal. Is that to lose the weight? Seems like it’s closer to my basal metabolic rate. Does my activity level matter if I’m logging my walks and runs?

Starting Out But Gaining Weight
So I just started out and I’ve been trying hard to manage my macros. But so far I’ve gained two pounds. :( I’m struggling to hit my protein macro goal without going over my fat macro goal. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to balance those numbers out?

What should my macros and calorie goal be?

My $3,000 Guaranteed Weight Loss Sweater
My sweater is worth at least $3,000 and saved me tens of thousands of calories. How, you ask? Over 300 hours invested, figuring my time at a mere $10 per hour. You can’t have dirty hands while doing needlework, and hands busy elsewhere aren’t mainlining sweets and treats into my mouth. This is, btw, “bedspread weight”…

Plateau
I lost 50lbs in the past 8 months by eating 1200-1500 calories per day and doing cardio. Over the past month I have begun some light weight lifting. However, I have not lost any weight or inches over the past month. I would still like to lose another 20lbs (or at least keep losing inches). What can I do to keep progressing…

Ancient and kicking it
Apparently, I just won the Ancient badge (no one remembers when you weren't here). I didn't even know we had badges. But, coincidentally, after all these years in and out of MFP and a whole slew of different diets and diet apps, I reached my goal of 132.2 pounds this morning. Ecstatic!!!!! I have often hovered above that…

If you were starting new in your weight loss journey, what would be the first thing you do?
Hi, I'm Abagail. I'm 26, I'm 8 months post partum. I'm the heaviest I've ever been weighing in at 83.6kg. I'm hoping to lose about 1kg every month and then maintain when I get to a healthy BMI. If you had to start all over again, what would be the first thing you would do?

What are the differences between fat loss and weight lose

Includes loss of water, muscle, bone, and fat. 3. Can be achieved through various means, such as dieting, exercise, or a combination of both. 4. May not necessarily…
