Ah, Christmas. The way I used to eat.
Amazing contrast, i realized today. After living on a godforsaken starvation diet since January ... it's fun (and scary) to take a _real_ day off and eat like I used to. A cookie here and there. Cheese and crackers. Crabcakes. As much beer as I want. Dinner based on gravy and heavy cream. Yikes!! The good old days? Not…

Hi Everyone! I am within 4.5 pounds of my weight loss goal. Hello! I started using mfp 3 months ago to maintain the weight I lost when I started exercising on a regular basis. Previous stats were 4'11" and 135lbs. My diet is pretty good (this week excluded!) with almost no processed foods and I seem to get close to my macros on most days. I do eat chocolate daily. :) MFP set my…

Hey guys! I'm really struggling to maintain. I have been eating 1200 calories (plus little snacks here and there) for almost a year. I'm 5' 3" and 115 pounds give or take. I want to stay this weight, but there are periods where I drop below it to like 112. Somehow, I always get myself to gain it back. So, a while back I…

The big question
So here's the big question...do we just write off Christmas Day for control purposes, and eat and drink whatever takes our fancy? Or do we continue to exercise the control that has achieved our weight loss goal so far and stick to target calories? I have to say I'm leaning towards the blow-out!! What do you all reckon?
