Sharing recipes with friends.
My wife and I both use MFP. It would be nice to be able to share recipes with friends even if you don't make them public. Maybe think about adding a "share" button so you could send the recipe to a friend or group of friends for use in their MFP food journal? This way each user wouldn't have to recreate the recipe by…

About creating and editing recipes
I use MFP Free. I am new to the app. I see how I can create my own recipes, but cannot edit a saved recipe. Searching on this, it looks like there is supposed to be an edit field when I navigate to the recipe, but it does not appear. Does this only exist in Premium? Thanks

Summer salads
Because it's summer down under, we've been eating a lot of salads. I've been focussing on adding protein to my salads, so mix up a range of leaves, avocado, cucumber, radish and tomato with edamame beans, seeds and nuts (flavoured differently each time...my two favourites are tamari and sumac), vegan feta (I make it with…

Creating a recipe with a serving size
Hi everyone, is it possible when creating a recipe in MFP to add the serving size? For example the recipe I want to add serves 6 and each serve is 205g but I can't see how I can add the serve size to my created recipe. Any help is much appreciated :)

Is there any way to organize my recipe box?
Accumulating a lot of recipes which just get added to the top of my recipe box. Very difficult to find a specific recipe. I can reorganize my list by editing individual recipes which then get put back on the top, but this is very painful (and gets undone if I ever actually need to edit a recipe. Is there any other way to…

Surprise Keto Guests!
Grrr! Yesterday I braved Costco on Christmas Eve to make sure my house was stocked for holiday visitors. $65USD later, I find out at least one guest has gone KETO. Ugh! Even if I wanted to, I found out too late to do any more shopping. If anyone had bothered to impart that little nugget of information sooner, I could have…

How to cook or track duck tacos
Hubby wants to try this recipe from Death By Burrito. I can't get the photo to upload but thankfully Google copies text from photos... I am not sure about cooking in 1kg of lard, but it seems pretty central to getting the flavour. I don't know how to track it - the weight of it to begin with less how much is left when the…

RA Sushi Hot Miso Soup
I was in the KC area last month and was taken to dinner at RA Sushi. I had never had tofu, hate mushrooms but went out on a limb and tried their hot miso soup. IT WAS GLORIOUS! I've been dying for some spicy miso soup ever since then and I'm going to make an attempt tonight. However, I have never made a miso soup and I…

Soba noodles from scratch homemade
Ever since i watched this perfectly detailed video on youtube of preparing soba noodles from scratch (ps its with all purpose flour), i got obsessed with it, but i have few questions about it that i hope someone can answer them:* Dough:* How thick should it be? Unintentionally i roll the dough really thin every time, and…

Avocado Toast
So I've recently gotten into avocado toast and I am curious how others make theirs. For now, I just bought some guacamole that is in a bottle that prevents it from going bad so quickly. I add a bit of the guac and an egg and some garlic seasoning and I'm good to go! Do you slice or mash avocados? Do you prefer quacamole?…

Silken tofu mousse/pudding question
So I went cray cray and bought some silken tofu. The only thing I'm almost confident about making with it is the vegan chocolate mousse. Three ingredients and you basically just blend them together. How badly could I screw that up?? Don't answer that. 😀 So tofu, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. I don't have the cocoa powder…

Importing recipes
I love the feature of importing recipes but I find that when I import something from Pinterest it only imports part of the recipe. An example is a coffee cake I like. It has a crumb topping and the recipe builder only picks up the cake recipe, not the topping. Has anyone else found this? The only thing I can do is edit the…

Hey MFP chefs…I Need Some Recipe Help
I recently started adding chicken breasts on a bed of canned black beans topped with Asian chili sauce to the slow cooker. It’s super easy, filling, comes out great and is macro friendly except for the sodium that comes with the chili sauce. So…what could I substitute for the chili sauce that’s light on calories and sodium…
