Running Apps
I currently use the Nike Plus Running Club app but it doesn't really do much as far as training and guidance. I was wondering what apps you guys use (and if u pay for them) that help improve your running goals and improvements. Preferably ones that are compatible with Apple Watch. Thanks!

Looking for a flexibility, functional fitness, strength program/app
I've lost around 120 pounds over the last few years, I regained about 10-14 pounds in the last year, because I got graves disease and the meds made me gain, which is normal and i'm working on losing that. I had to stop exercising when graves was really bad, so it's been a year since I properly worked out. (i was lifting…

Hi folks, and Happy Holidays. I am new both to this group and MyFitnessPal in general. I am a 55 year old married male; a gourmet food lover; avid walker (with our dog); mountain hiker and kayaker. MFP and Fitbit "steps"
I've been using MFP for a while but just received a Fitbit Charge as a gift. I read somewhere that I would need to be sure to add the time to my workouts when I log my exercise on MFP so it can check Fitbit for my activity at that time. Then I read somewhere else that I would not need to log any "step" based exercise…

Treadmill recommendations?
Gyms near me are only open during the hours I work. I've been saving to buy a treadmill. What do you recommend from comfort and ease to add a laptop stand to? I would be using it while working if possible.

Body recomposition?
Hi guys! I don't post here often because I suck at exercising 😂 but I could do with some advice! I'm wondering if body recomposition is possible with diet and exercise? I have always carried all my weight on my lower half (hips, bum, stomach) and my torso is quite skinny. So, in an ideal world, once I'm at my goal weight…

Feeling deadlifts in the legs
I recently took on a new objective of learning how to do deadlifts, and my beginner's session went well. I studied up on the correct form, I went to the gym and did 4 sets of 6-8 reps, to start off using about 40-50 lb (I'm a woman, I can probably lift 100 lb max). I managed to avoid using my lower back, yay for that. But…

Stronglift 5x5
Hi All, I am doing the 5x5 workout, with a bit of an adjustment. Due to time constraints, I can't do the typical Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Most of the time I need to do 2 days in a row to fit all the workouts in a week. The problem is I struggle with squats on the second day if I need to do them 2 days in a row. Any…

Post A-Vascular Necrosis Physical Fitness Question
Hello, Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with A-Vascular Necrosis. As a 36year old male that loves things like water skiing, motorcycle off-road racing, and public displays of nudity, I was concerned. For those that do not know, A-Vascular Necrosis is an incurable disease that causes bone death, bone collapse, and…

Winter: how not to freeze when working out?
Just wonder if someone else has the same problem: I ran for 90 minutes at just below freezing today. The whole 90 minutes my arms and legs were cold, and once I got home I slipped into bed with my electric mattress cover on full power. I was so cold I didn't even notice this. Took a shower on highest temperature and was…

Very minor surgery: nope, no exercise for now.
Ugh.. so I had minor surgery yesterday afternoon: a huge lipoma was removed from my outer ankle. Cut turned out to be bigger than planned because it would not pop out in one go but fell apart. Pain is not really present but I still am not allowed to exercise for at least a week, possibly longer. Well.. wearing shoes is…
