70 lbs down! 223 to 153! :)
I used to dream about posting on this board, and would cry while reading success stories because I really didn't think I could do it, but here I am! I started losing weight in January of 2014 right after I gave birth to my second baby, and am still working on it! I never really gained weight until I got pregnant with my…

I Quit Soda
We gave up Coke for lent. I'm not religious it just seemed like a convenient excuse since husband was doing it (he is religious). At the height of my soda drinking habit I was having 4-6 cans per day. I knew it was bad. But I loathe water. I gave myself the allowance that I would drink it at movie theaters, restaurants and…

I Quit Weight Watchers!
I had good progress with weight watchers, and that's probably the only program that's ever really stuck with me. They had a promo that when you sign up it's like $90 for 3 months. I overall lost almost 20 pounds, I started WW on 1/27/2019. I don't always track and there were a couple of glitches that I did not like with…

I broke through a plateau today! I did it by eating waffles, pancakes, cheese and crackers and dessert. But all within the recommended calorie intake from MFP including all my exercise points! I did it by taking rest days and rotating exercise between running, swimming, biking, Squats, planks, lunges, etc. In the past I…

Food addiction battle ❤️❤️
I’ve lost about 40lbs. I no longer weigh myself because I found myself obsessing over the number on the scale. These photos prove I don’t need a scale and if a food addict can do it then you can to. Add me !

Huge NSV achieved today!
I started working out December last year as I got sick of feeling pudgy and frumpy still carrying around the baby weight (my daughter is nearly 2, the time for excuses was over) and today I achieved a huge goal - proper pushups done up on my toes, not on my knees - 12 of them to be exact 😁😁. This is massive for me because…

1 year from 330lbs to 236. (Pics)
Today marks 1 year of dedicated logging. I started at 330lbs at 5’1” and life was physically hard. Everything was hard. I could barely function. My first day of trying to exercise I could only walk for 6 minutes. Now I walk my heart out and I’m doing C25K. My quality of life now compared to 1 year ago... well it’s like I’m…

A great moment
I teach high school and am a wrestling coach. Back sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas, after the wrestlers vacated the locker room, I stripped down and hopped on the scale. 297 pounds. For my health insurance update fitness check, they recorded my weight as 305 (clothed) roughly a month before. I resolved to…

Seven years on MFP
Seven years ago today I started using MFP. It was a gift beyond compare. I've been on every diet in the world and have gained and lost hundreds of pounds over the years but was at my highest weight. I'm 5 feet tall and weighed almost 180. I had high blood pressure. At the beginning I just wanted to lose 5% of my body…

I lost 24 sizes!
So I don’t have many photos from my heaviest weight because I hated being in photos back then. I’d barely even take a selfie because I felt my face was so round. The photo of me in the brown shirt is probably the only photo from my heaviest weight when I was morbidly obese. My highest dress size I ever wore was 24 but…

Feels so good!
My heels have always been super cracked and ugly. I’ve noticed over the past couple of weeks they are healing and i am becoming less embarrassed of them! Also, while stretching at Zumba last night i was able to pull up my leg and hold my foot for a stretch... haven’t been able to do that in a long time. Felt so good!

Pregnancy Success!
I'm 37 weeks + 1 day today! Even though I still have 3 weeks to go, I feel comfortable enough to finally share a huge success with you all! My first pregnancy I gained 43 lbs and was not taking care of myself. This resulted in gaining a little too much and a very difficult postpartum recovery. This time I vowed to do…

Intermittent fasting
I started my intermittent fasting about a week ago and I haven’t lost any weight. I do 16/8 . I work night shift so sometimes I’ll have a yogurt or some almonds if I’m starving, should I be not eating at all? I drink lots of water and eat as healthy as I can. I also work out 30 mins a day. What am I doing wrong?

Before and half-way through
I changed jobs, bought and sold a house and moved with two kids in a 4 month time frame. My regular running routes changed, my schedule changed and my health went down hill fast. Turns out I also had a vitamin imbalance that needed to be adjusted. I started trying to get back into shape around October and set back after…

I've only been doing this for two weeks but its 10 lbs. My goal thing shows a different number because I lied and said I was lighter than I was. Denial gets me through some days and I was in a baaad place when I downloaded this app. It feels good to have gone down for the first time in years. My doctor was unimpressed but…

125 lbs down in less than 1 year no exercise
I set out to lose weight in April of 2018. I tipped the scale at 300 lbs and I decided it was too much. With my goal being 175 lbs I wanted to achieve it in 1 years time. Success!
