Not counting, watching (sort of Intuitive Eating, but old-style, with gentle nutrition)
I've cycled around the same 10 lbs or so for over 40 years after dropping 25ish pounds. The last 10 years or so I've kept my weight lower and tighter, healthier eating, especially as I've started playing tennis again and my calorie burn skyrocketed depending on the weather. On trips (traveling/camping, 2-3 weeks 2-3x a…

Hi everybody !
I've been doing a different variations of intermittent fasting to see which one would help me the most to maintain my weight. Right now I'm doing the 3 days fasting and see if by eating just once a day will help to maintain my weight. It is a work in progress until I find the right combination for me.

Long time maintainers how do you do it
I'd like to hear from other folks who've maintained their weight loss for several years or so. What do you do to maintain? What sort of lifestyle changes did you make while losing or after that made it easier (or possible?) to maintain your loss? And, are you active/do you exercise regularly? What works for you? Thanks. After years of gaining and losing this time I know…

Finding my maintenance
I am struggling to figure out my maintenance caloric intake. I have tried a few different websites and they all define “activity” differently which is where I think the confusion is. The range they’re providing me is 2500-300kcal. I am 6’3, weigh 95kg, am 29 years old, and have a fat percentage of roughly 20%. I work and…

Maintaining Weight as a Lifestyle change
So, this is my third time at this stage. I am not working out regularly. I am more of a casual walker who participates in 3Ks to support causes. I lost 55 pounds and am in the 150s. My biggest weakness is sugar. I have been introduced to the Keto chocolate (Lily's chocolate) which has made a difference. One other practice…

Have you changed your original Goal Weight? Up or down?
Hello my fellow Maintenance friends, When I discovered MFP and began my weight loss journey here in July 2014, I was trying to lose those final stubborn 10 pounds. I had struggled with a 20 pound gain over the course of a few years and had been able to drop 6-7 lbs on my own before MFP. I never expected I could lose the…

Maintaining is Scary
I'm 5'2" and female. I started at 215. April 7th will be my one year anniversary. I have lost 87lbs. My goal was 129 and I'm 125-128 (it varies a lot day to day). So I beat my goal. I am trying now to transition into maintenance. But it's terrifying. I'm scared to weight more as I'm trying to figure out my new calories,…

Pregnant and tracking- for health reasons.
I’m pregnant but I’m 40 lbs overweight. I am so overweight I have been informed I should actually not gain weight, but at most 10 lbs. There is no medical need for me to gain weight. I am trying to at least maintain. I started at 187, and was 194 by 10 weeks. My Dr. was concerned. I have been tracking now (my Dr. is aware)…
