I was close to 200 pounds a few years ago. I am a 27 year old female, 5’4. I lost a lot of weight and was at 115 pounds. I wanted to gain about 10 pounds because I felt that I was “too skinny”. I did that, but for the past year or so, I have struggled with not constantly thinking about food and gaining some of the weight…

They say it'll be easy...Why am I not losing the water weight?
People say losing water weight is easy. It'll go away in a little time. It hasn't been that way for me at all. I've reduced my sodium from 3,000MG perday to 1,850Mg perday. My carbs I increase from 145g perday to 190g perday. Why am I not losing the water. I sure did cut a lot of sodium. I've been cutting for now the…

How do I find my maintenance? Then build muscle ?

My issue is that when I reach my goal weight(120) , what do I do ? I can’t continue the same diet bc I’ll disappear into thin air, but I also don’t want to gain the…

Playing "chicken" with the scale! Dared it to move, and it did
I entered maintenance mode back in the spring of this year. I have been managing to keep the 53 lbs off, weighing just below 120 lbs. Over the summer with vacations and increased exercise with biking outside and such, I've had times when I've gone nuts with calories and still maintained or even lost more. The last couple…

I'm on my 3rd bout* of COVID (3/2020, 8/2021, 7/2022) and every time I've lost a bunch of weight even though I'm eating at or above maintenance. Ugh, I see my doctor for my yearly checkup in August and she was adamant last year that I needed to maintain…

How do I maintain a healthy diet when I miss food so much? I still have a week left until I can eat normal again. Just want to set goals.
