Longtime on MFP
Hi I have been on MFP for around 10 years now but I have only reached my goal of target weight once during my wedding. I have gone back to increased belly fat after that just bad food habits i.e. eating junk, not cooking my own food. Can someone recommend some books, articles. Thanks

Friends?
Finishing my first week back to tracking with MFP. See lots of changes in the app, some are nice (paid for) but I miss the connection with friends. Why can't we post to our walls anymore? It was nice to share updates there. Anyway, many of my old friends are inactive…So if anyone wants to be friends for support, I'd love…

Wanted : Daily accountability motivation buddy
Hi all! Middle aged guy here from Canada, 5’11, 200 lbs looking to loose 20 lbs. I’ve been using MFP for over 10 years and it works ( when I use it). Every time I focus and use it, I’m motivated and aware of what I eat, and end up losing weight (at which point I stop logging in, and I gain it back again). I’m looking for…

Tracking calories
Iv been in a weight loss journey up and down for years. I suck at tracking my food. And then when I do and it gives me 2100 calories to eat in a day, for me that’s way too much. But I try. So when I don’t hit all my macros. I know I fail. How do you get over that. For example. I’m 200lbs and would like to be 160 and see…

In a rut!!!
well I had lost about 60 pounds in the last couple years but I got lost somewhere and gained about 25 pounds back. It’s just too convenient to eat out or reach for a snack. I really need to get back in the mindset of where I was when I lost all that weight. I was exercising 30 to 60 mins per day. Mostly treadmill but also…

I don’t have anyone to talk nutrition with.
I have been on my journey seriously for a few months and seeing exciting progress. My best friend struggled with eating disorders in the past so I can’t talk to her about any of the food aspect of weight loss. I am really struggling staying motivated and I need support. We live together and today she brought home a whole…

Mounjaro
For those of you considering using it let me tell you about my experience so far. I started 4 weeks ago and I am down 11.4 lbs. I give myself one injection in my thigh once a week. The injection is simple and painless. I have had to deal with Montezuma’s revenge a few times but it was manageable. A nurse friend who works…

Ironman Race Weight
I have an Ironman in mid-August, and I realised on Monday this week that, although I have done loads of training, I have put on weight, which is slowing me down. No point in doing all that training and being heavy for the actual race. I tried to read the forums about weight loss for an endurance event, so I've been super…

Weight Gain AFTER taking and stopping Adderall
Hey so I'm curious if anyone else has had this experience. During my last year of school I was very stressed and struggling badly with my grades. For whatever reason I could not focus or get a grasp on the material I decided to try Adderall to see if it would help me. Actually it didn't really while I found myself…

Hey all! I am starting MFP up again after being off of the app for a long hiatus and am getting back into it. Quotes and Comments I Find Inspiring
I wanted to share with MFP posters who might stumble on this thread ... One of my go-to authors is James Clear, who wrote the book "Atomic Habits'. He said this in Chapter 1 about goals, which can so easily create an 'either-or' conflict, and they don't have to be that way at all ... "When you fall in love with the process…
