I need help. I've been on the treadmill for a while now and I am ready to move on. I would like to start on the machines at the gym (Planet Fitness) and I don't know how to start. I am getting conflicting information about which muscle groups to work out together. Can anyone help??? Web site??? Thanks

i have a question. i have been exercising about two to three times a week about 45 mintues each time. i stay at my required calorie intake also, and i still haven't been losing much weight. this has been going on since around christmas. can anyone let me know if i am doing something wrong? thanks!

Calories Burned By Shoveling
I just shoveled about a foot of snow for an hour. I know that it has to count towards my exercise for the day but am unsure of how to classify it. Any suggestions or knowledge of the calories burned per minute? Or would this be considered "strength training" in lieu of cardio?

I just found this site. After all the stuff for calulating your BMR there are links at the end for calorie counters. I have seen some questions about how many calories are burned in activities. The have a bunch of different categories you can choose from, even household chores! :smile:
