How do I use myfitnesspal to track the mediterranean diet.
As I find myself needing to follow the Mediterranean diet for heart healthy meals, I would like to know how to best track what I am eating. Calorie counting and protein goal
So some nights I am really hungry and end up eating late. What I do is put it on my log for the next day if I absolutely have to eat. Does anyone do this? I am assuming if I do this, and eat less the next day it shouldn't put me in a surplus correct? Also for protein goal, online calculator says 71g-127g. To lose fat and…

Vitamins limit?
This may be a silly question, but I had a cup of strawberries with my breakfast and saw that the alert was that I met my vitamin C goal for the day. So should I avoid vitamin c rich foods the rest of the day? When you hit a max of a macro nutrient, do you avoid going over those areas?

Why aren't you allowed to set water intake goals?
Water intake is a cornerstone of any fitness plan and should be adjusted according to exercise, weight/BMI, fiber intake, etc. How does a food and fitness tracking app not have this feature - especially when they want you to pay for a premium subscription?

Question about defrosting a turkey in cold water
I'm defrosting a turkey in cold water because I understand doing it at room temperature is considered unsafe and the time they give for defrosting in the refrigerator has always been way longer than what was given. Any thoughts on deli meats?
I eat A LOT of sandwiches and wraps, especially in the summer. I've read that eating deli meat every day is unhealthy. So, I'll switch it up with tuna, eggs, or tofu, etc. Do you think it is unhealthy to eat deli meat/cheese almost every day even if it is with lots of salad greens and other healthy raw vegetables???
