How many Carbs in Red wine?
Most sites are more or less aligned on the number of calories in a 125ml glass of red wine in the range of 85 to 110. But carbs seem to be all over the shop. Some such as My Fitness Pal say they are negligable - around 0.1g but most have it at 3g to 5g. They can't both be right. Anyone know what number to use if counting…

Maybe a vegan can help with this?
I am mostly on a plant based diet. Occasionally eat fish and eggs but would eventually like to be vegan. I have high cholesterol (220) and too much fiber is causing constipation. Any tips on a plant based low fiber diet that doesn’t make my cholesterol worse?

Allulose Artificial Sweetener
It does not appear that myfitnesspal recognizes the artificial sweetener Allulose when calculating net carbs. Allulose technically does have some carbohydrates, but they don’t count since your body will not metabolize them. A teaspoon of allulose has 4 total carbs but 0 net carbs. Allulose has a glycemic index score of…

Electrolyte Suggestions
My doctor says I am badly dehydrated, confirmed by tests. Seems like this summer the faucet is on as soon as I put on my workout gear. I work out pretty extensively, I sweat profusely. I drink what seems to be a lot, but it’s not even making a dent. I cannot seem to quench my thirst. I’m also craving salt, even though I’m…

Random, but veiny hands?
My hands are very veiny. To a certain degree they always have been even since I was little which I think may potentially be genetic since my grandmas and aunts all had veiny hands. But lately I've noticed my veins become so prominent, I look dead lol. What does this mean? My friends and family have noticed it and made fun…

30 different fruit and veg per week - do you manage?
See question: do you manage to get 30 different fruit and veg per week? Coffee/tea and spices/herbs/garlic/olive oil count as 1/4 point. Highly processed food doesn't count. I don't think I manage because I live alone, have limited fridge/freezer space and can't buy big amounts of fruit and veg because I simple can't store…

Portion weighing question
This is a newbie question, even though I have been doing this weightloss for a bit. Just a warning…

Protein powder and bloating.
I'm trying to eat more protein, and am experimenting with a protein powder. Just 15gr vegan powder. It gives me quite a lot of bloating though. Are there other options? Note: I have special dietary needs. I need a fair amount of carbs to function at all. And normally, too much protein without added fat results in reflux.…
