How Do I Calculate Calories and Macros that I need to lose weight?

MFP logging yesterdays steps
For the past week mfp is showing the previous days steps and not logging a calorie correction. It only changes if I exceed the previous days steps, then it give accurate info. This is incredibly frustrating as my tracking is all over the place.

I have tried several programs to try to maintain an appropriate weight and be physically fit. As I age it is getting harder so need inspiration. Live in small town so food choices for groceries is limited and arthritis makes exercise more of a challenge but want to stay physically able and fit.
