30 different fruit and veg per week - do you manage?
See question: do you manage to get 30 different fruit and veg per week? Coffee/tea and spices/herbs/garlic/olive oil count as 1/4 point. Highly processed food doesn't count. I don't think I manage because I live alone, have limited fridge/freezer space and can't buy big amounts of fruit and veg because I simple can't store…

MFP WINE CLUB 🍷 21+
Does anyone else have serious, long term relationships with winemakers? I remember mostly drinking Smoking Loon Cabernet Sauvignan in my 20s, and then moved on to Our Daily Red Organic wines. Left them for a really good Austrian wine Meinklang Burgenland Red. It became difficult to find and so went back to Our Daily Wines.…

I need to find a way to exercise
I have an elliptical, a treadmill, and a weighted hula hoop (I love that thing). I also stole my nephew's weight set. However, I don't know where to begin. I haven't worked in over a year and a half due to anxiety and depression and my fear of people as a whole has grown exponentially since middle school. Needless to say,…

Have You Tried an Anti-Inflammatory Meal Plan? Has It Helped?
Have any of you tried an anti-inflammatory diet plan? Not a weight loss diet, but tailoring your diet to reduce inflammation and joint pain? Did it work? What did you do? When did you see results? Has it helped on an on-going basis? I’m planning on consulting with my hospital affiliated gym’s RD when she returns. She’s…

I stopped using MFP like months ago, but then I started to notice that I had gained like 2 kgs and for the past few weeks i have been trying my best to lose it by binge eating less and everytime my weight goes down it always comes back up and its really demotivating to see. I don't have time to workout and it makes it…

Search for food measured by weight
A lot of foods are measured in cups, teaspoons, fluid ounces, etc. I use a scale to weigh a lot of my food, and sometimes it's difficult to find a food that is measured in ounces or grams. It would be nice if I could specify in my search that I'm looking for a food that is measured by weight.

Edit a scanned food to create custom food
I often can't leverage the barcode scanner feature because the calories are not accurate based on the method my nutritionist recommends (fatx9, carbx4, proteinx4). This makes a key Premium feature basically useless for me unfortunately, and my custom foods list is long and hard to use. I'd love to be able to scan and then…

I could really use an accountability partner. I work out consistently for the most part but having someone to maybe do the same stuff every day with me would be awesome. Nice to meet you all.

Carnivore Yes or No?
Good morning all, So i have been a Yoyoer for many, many years and have tried every diet under the sun! I have done plenty of research and cannot come up with a definitive answer on The Carnivore Diet. Everything I have learned screams no! But after 30days of actually following it, the results kind of speak for themselves.…

How to populate "RECENT" and/or "FREQUENT" lists in Food Diary
Hi everyone! I recently cleared out all the entries in the "Recent" and "Frequent" tabs (see attached image) for adding foods to my diary (because there were too many and superfluous ones). I have been adding foods from the "My Foods" tab ... but these entries aren't then added to the "Recent" and "Frequent" tabs (as had…

My journey started 348 days ago
Started on February 15, 2024. I was 546lbs. (I was actually probably more than that but I had no access to a scale that could weigh me and that was the last weight I knew I was). As of January 24, 2025 I was down 199lbs. I am now 347lbs. I might be insane but I was so annoyed that I was not down 200lbs, a nice round…

Exercise ideas post knee surgery?
Hi, I had a menicus repair and lcl reconstruction 12wks ago and due to the nature of the injury/surgery can't do a lot of cardio yet. I can do about 15 minutes on the bike. I lift upper body and my other leg. And do my PT stuff. Anyone go through something similar? What did you do for exercise? It's like being the turtle…

-165 lb. Weight Loss, 39 lb. Weight Gain, 5% Winter 2025 Challenge To Get Back To Goal
I have been obese my entire adult life. If you can relate, this story is for you. Looking at the pictures I selected to use to tell my story, I realized it took me 30 years to achieve my goal. 30 years is a long darn time to stay focused and true to who you want to become. In 2020 I started an ‘Annual Progression’…

Oura Ring Integration
The Oura ring tracks steps, HRV, stress, sleep, etc. It is used by thousands of people to track their health. I've had mine for over 5 years. I'd love to be able to connect the data on my ring to this app to accurately collect my heart rate, steps, exercise, and sleep . Would you consider adding an integration to the Oura…

Runners/nutrionists
What is your take on fueling the longer runs that last an hour and a half to two hours? The ones you do as part of your training, not an actual race? I've been led to believe by my running coach and everything I've seen online that no matter if it's a training run or a race you should have something past an hour and a…

Ability to set the Diary tab as my default "home" screen
Currently, the app seems to default to the Dashboard tab. If I switch to Diary, then go to another app and come back, it won't change. But if I leave MyFitnessPal for a while and come back, it'll open to the Dashboard tab. I'd like to be able to set the Diary tab as my default. I prefer the day view because seeing what I…
