56. Gall bladder removed. Couldn't stop gaining weight. Doc gave up on me. Says it's just my metabolism and this is my life now. ...yay... thanks Doc for offering no hope. Just reading what others are going through here, trying to offer them some of the hope I didn't get.

Hello. been using MFP for a # of years. it works well for me, keeping track of how much i am actually eating. looking to maintaining calorie deficient. Like to perhaps lose more fat and gain muscle. at 76 yrs old it can be challenging, but i know it's doable. looking for encouragement and motivation.
