Hi!!!
My name is Liz. I’m excited to get back healthy. It’s been about 3 yrs or so since I’ve lost weight. I gained back what I lost. I believe me having a community will help. As that’s how I was able to lose the weight I did last time..:community and accountability.

Today I walked on my own -Bye bye scooter?
My husband and I both have a severe cold, we both got an earache and a fever overnight and I made an appointment with an urgent care office for Sunday morning. It’s a huge building with modern, long hallways. They have rolling chairs in the lobby, for people who can’t walk very well. I started using these chairs about six…

Not ‘exactly’ new here but haven’t introduced myself before
Hello everyone My fitness journey began in 2007, when I lost 60 lbs over a span of 3-3.5 months. I walked just about every day, and made sure I was eating healthy food - a lot of fish as I remember. My motivation was that my mom had been overweight for most of her life, and I had also witnessed the horrible toll that…

My total intake is limited to1600 calories per day. No dairy, just oat milk replacement for tea and cereal breakfasts. Fruit is a mixture of raspberries,…

Hi all, name here is Karen. I ran across this initial first post (Is there a group for any one over 70?) and started reading ... and became hooked. One thing that has struck me whilst reading these posts: People over 70 have learned more than just a thing or 2 about life! We are proof that with age comes wisdom and…

Perimenapause- hormone weight?
Has anyone had experience gaining weight because of hormones? Is this a thing? Im 48 and have gained 20 pounds in the last year for no logical reason. The weight is mostly in my midsection too - it's protruding...all the time. Can this be fixed with diet?

Cholesterol LDL and HDL
The advice is LDL = bad HDL = good, but the nutrients measure doesn’t make that distinction, just cholesterol. Can anyone tell me how to interpret the cholesterol figures?

Back again after 4 years of being lazy and over eating
Hi all, Used to use this app ages ago and it was great - managed to lose weight and get myself in shape. Sadly I ended up going off the rails due to an unfortunate family situation which led to me over eating and getting way out of shape. Am needing to lose about 2 Stone (28lbs I think) to get myself back to where I was…

Yo-yo dieter all my life.
I have lost considerable amounts of weight through out my adult life. But gained it all back. Dieting I can do, but sustainable maintenance is what I find hard. Is anyone the same. I’m going to try it different this time. Just health eating and not taking too much notice of calories, but will log them. Starting a fitness…

Why does app adjust my calories?
For example- I stop eating at 9pm and it says I have 390 calorie left for day after I save diary. Then when I wake in morning it says I went over my limit like -33 calories?

Welcome to the first week of the rest of your life! Now seems like a perfect time to select a New Week's Resolution. What is a New Week's Resolution? It's exactly the same as a New Year's Resolution, with two important distinctions: it only lasts for one week, and you can start one any time you want, rather than just once…

30 different fruit and veg per week - do you manage?
See question: do you manage to get 30 different fruit and veg per week? Coffee/tea and spices/herbs/garlic/olive oil count as 1/4 point. Highly processed food doesn't count. I don't think I manage because I live alone, have limited fridge/freezer space and can't buy big amounts of fruit and veg because I simple can't store…
