how many calories?????
I have read sooooo many different things about how many calories i should eat. Most say around 2000, but this site says 1460. Why the differences?

can you gain weight with to few calories?
According to this site I should be eating about 2000 cal a day with my activity level. I don't think that i have ever eaten that much in a day. Can I be doing my body more harm then good? I'm not hungry, but I have not lost any weight for a while. I'm really confussed. Any suggestions?

Lack of Motivation

VP of my company asked me if I was pregnant!
Um, no I'm not. I'm just a little fat. Can you believe how stupid people can be?? I wanted to crawl in a hole and die! He only sees me once or twice a year, and I must have put on a few. But really! He did feel terrible and kept apologizing....which only made it worse. My self esteem is in the toilet.

Well update time .. I joined the body for life program at my local gym. I started because i was over 300 lbs ...307 to be exact , at 37 % body fat .......yuck ...but kept with it religiosly , just cutting out junk foor entirely and eating 5 times a day small portions of course. and not eating after 7 pm. drank so much…

Normal to be so hungry?
Ok, Ive always thought that if you are hungry (stomach growling) then you are hungry and should eat something. (Healthy) But I am really hungry. I already used up a good portion of my daily calorie allowance. I can only eat a ver little bit anyhow. Are you guys (girls ) hungry? Will this go away? Thanks

A week
And i have lost 6lb since starting this place,i'm feeling great today and know i can do it. I have so much motivation all i want to do is dance. Is 6lb to much in a week,i keep with my calorie intake,i'm sensible i just eat more fiber and healthy stuff. Good luck everyone we can do it :¤) x x x

Pilates
A few years ago, someone gave me Pilates Reformer because they never used it. I must have been having a good day that day and decided I would use it!!!!!!!!!!!! A real test
I have a 4yr old kids party with my daughter today,my down fall with lots of yum things that are a no no! Sick

I'm worried about my daughter
She has low thryroid and is taking Synthroid and meds for depression and meds for her back pain and she told me that the meds that she takes makes her lose weight. Is there anything I can tell her to make her believe that she can lose weight? She weighs about 220 now and she is 5' 6" tall. She is not very active.

pounds per week question
I was looking at my goals page and I had chosen to do the aggressive weight loss (2 pounds per week), but on the next page where it gives my summary, it says I will only be losing 1.3 pounds per week....how come it won't let me lose the 2 pounds a week? I'm new to this and... confused. According to the BMR calculations I should be consuming approx. 1600 calories, which I'd burn if I were just resting.
