In App Calculation
Every time I have to pull up my calculator to determine how much of a serving I had I think to myself "My Fitness Pal should do this for me." Ex: Milk serving size is 8oz but I generally drink between 9.5oz and 11.5oz every morning. It'd be great if I could leave the serving entry amount at 8oz, type in 9.5oz, and have the…

Filter foods by whether they list weight
I like to weigh my food when possible. I find it's usually much more accurate and variations between similar listings in the database are often much smaller when I factor in weight (e.g. 2 different store bought cookies with wildly different calories are likely two very different sizes and not two drastically different…

Add foods by taking a picture
Lose It already does this. You can take a picture of the food. It scans it and make recommendations for you to confirm the food eaten.

Proteins, Carbs, and Fats by Meal Should NOT be Premium
I am a diabetic who uses insulin. I have been using your app for years and rely on this feature to determine how much insulin to use. Now you have locked this feature in the Premium membership?!?! Now you are forcing me to manually calculate the total proteins, carbs, and fats for each meal. I am on disability and can't…

Active Calories directly from the HealthKit / App on iOS rather than using steps
I would like to simplify the calorie adjustment, rather than having MFP read steps and specific activities from HealthKit and then do its own calculation I would like if there was an option to simply take the active calories total as is in the Health App for iPhone users. I use different trackers sometimes and MFP doesn't…

Good Cholesterol tracker
Why do you only track total cholesterol in the diet diary? Would it be better to separate bad cholesterol from good? If I eat avacado or eggs it pegs my daily cholesterol numbers. But those foods are really that bad, right?

Add water intake read and write from Apple Health
Pretty self explanatory

Diabetic Test Log
It is really important to users with diabetes to log their blood sugar tests. Apple has an app that interfaces with Withing's but I cannot find any that work work with an Android phone or tablet. If you can add this logging capability and send it to Withing's, the health record in there would be much more complete!

Third Party Apps
Would love connectivity to the SlimPal (bluetooth tapemeasure) App to import measurements. Also, connectivity to the TruvyFit App would be awesome!!!

New layout
Is it just me or is the new layout terrible and confusing?
-
Food bank
Is there anyway way you log scanned foods from the barcode in your history for a later date without putting them in your current diary

Delete Duplicate and Incorrect Foods
The number of duplicate and incorrect entries across all food types is staggering, and the problem continues to build, making it more and more difficult to log food accurately. It would be great if MFP would make moderating and/or cleaning up duplicate and incorrect food entries using an algorithm a priority.

Improved support for bariatric diets
I'm currently recovering from bariatric surgery and I'm finding there's a bit of a disconnect between what myfitnesspal wants to track, and what my nutritionist wants me to track. At this point I'm really only tracking protein and water and nothing else. Some individual features that would help: -Support water content of…

Closing out the day with less than 1200 calories
Please allow us to close out the day with less than 1200 calories. I calculated my TDEE, and because of my height( and probably age 🙃) my TDEE is low. I'm trying to stay in a 500 calorie deficit a day to loose a pound a week. That puts me at 1000 calories.

Printable (or in app) shopping list
I apologize if there is already a thread, I did not find one searching. I would like to be able to plan out my entire week of meals and snacks, and then see everything including recipe ingredients in one consolidated list, so that I don't forget anything when I am grocery shopping for the week and I have all the right…

Distance as a measure of exercise for daily steps.
My Stepz app no longer synchs with MFP, so my caloric allotment isn't updated. Manually entering your distance makes a lot more sense than the amount of time. Please make that an option.

Gousto or hello fresh integration
It would be great if there was a food box integration. Where it could sync up with the meals you had delivered that week from Gousto or HelloFresh. Also the breakdown of the items in it. Currently I’m just doing quick add and putting in the calories.

Easy way to add same items every day
Is there an easy way to add the same thing without having to do it every day? For example, I eat 1 banana,1 apple, and 1 orange every day and add this in the snacks section. Everyfay I have to add these items, is there any way to add these so it does it automatically rather than having to add the same items every day?

Default to Food Entry Area
Instead of 'requiring' us to click the mouse to the area where to tell the food you are looking for, default to that spot when you choose breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. It is a pain to always have to use your mouse to get there. And that is 'always' where you want to go when adding food.

New Android changes not ideal - time stamping is more cumbersome now
In the previous Android version, you could multiselect a number of foods and enter them all at once, all with a single time stamp. Now you hit the "+" button for each, and each has their own time stamp. Really, if you're going to make changes, they should be for the better, not just different. Broke something that worked…

Pull weight data from iPhone Health app
I attempted to link MyFitnessPal to my VeSync app, but it’s not working. If MyFitnessPal could pull weight data directly from Apple’s Health app (like it pulls steps data), the link to my digital scale (and its malfunction) wouldn’t matter. It could also pull BMI, body fat percent, and other related data.

Indicate which contacts I’ve already sent friend requests to
After sending friend requests, the button on that contact says “Sent”, but if you leave that page and go back to it, the app doesn’t remember which friends you’ve already sent requests to. Update the app to remember who the user sent friend requests to. Consider also placing that data under the Requests tab, so that it…

Change default to friends only
When posting a progress photo on one’s own newsfeed the default is set to be seen by the entire MFP community. In other words, the world. No privacy. Seems like the default should be for MFP friends only. The member could then choose whether or not to show it to the world.

Affiliate Programs for Private medical or fitness professionals
With Keto or whatever nutrition diet tracking you may be working on, often the professionals overseeing this recommend MyFitnessPal. Others recommend others. Why not create an affiliate link for fitness and health professionals to get a little back for sending so many your way.

Weekly Adjustable Calorie Goal
I saw in Lose It app that they allow for users to adjust their daily calorie allowance. Eat less on some days and more on others, for example have less on weekdays and a bit more on weekends. This also could be used for planning for a meal out or a party and would be very useful feature, I think. Sometimes, when you go…

Daily macro update
I know you can go into your settings and update your macros as often as you like, but an easy spot on the current food diary page would be great. I do carb cycling which alters my fat and carb macros almost every day.

Export Meal Data (Times, Foods, Amounts) - Feature Request
The reason I signed up for premium MFP was that I was hoping to use this to track my meals and carbohydrates due to gestational diabetes. Unfortunately, I just realized there's no way to export this data. So I either have to retype everything manually (times, foods amounts) into a spreadsheet, or I'm left trying to…

Auto update goal calories from Apple Health Resting Energy (or similar) + smartwatch
Over the last couple of weeks, I've been testing out the accuracy of Apple's "Resting Energy" in the Health app being read from my Apple Watch as well as having the app Gym Goal calculate calories when exercising. Based on the experiment it all came very close to my maintenance calories per day and the Resting Energy works…
