Workout buddies in Richmond, VA?
Hi All. I am struggling to get motivated to work out and I think it would be helpful to have a workout buddy. We could help motivate each other. I’ve got a lot of weight to get off. I’ve done it before by myself and can do it again but I think it helps to have someone on the same path. I’d also be open to chatting with…

Struggling. Loose skin or fat?
Hi everyone, I’ve done so many posts about this and have taken advice onboard, but I’m really struggling. I used to weight 115kg and now weight 80kg. I lost about 20kg in 2018, and then the remaining 10-15kg from Oct 2020 - Spring 2021. Since then, I’ve stagnated. I don’t know if I have loose skin or fat? Or a mixture of…

More steps?
I’m 62 yr old and I’m walking 3 miles a day keeping my calories at 1200. I’ve been dieting since 10-14-21. I’ve lost 28 lb since then. Last week I only lost half a pound. Should I raise my steps?

Never been massively overweight usually one and a half to two stone over. Constantly thinking, why can't I just eat without feeling guilty, or how are all these people slim and I'm not. 50…

Sad-encouragement or advice?
I gained 10 pounds in the last year. I decided to lose that 10 pound one week ago. I weigh exactly the same as before. I’m eating 1200 calories net calories a day (before I was probably beating 2400 net) and have felt so hungry all week and I just feel defeated. Anyone have this happen before?

Any dietitians here that would answer a couple questions?
I am 50 years old and 302 lbs. Been staying below 2000 calories a day and have only lost 12 lbs in a month. I know this a good number but since the app says I can eat 2700 calories and still lose weight I thought that I would be losing faster. Please help!

Eating my net Calories

Set point
I’ve just been hearing and reading about it. How can it be true when people are losing weight and keeping it off. If it is true and only weight loss surgery can change your set point than I guess we need to have weight loss surgery or just give up

What's wrong with the iOS app now? Only getting results in cups/servings
Argh! Since moving to another (European) country (might be coincidence) I only get food in cups or servings! I of course add USDA where needed, and still nothing. I can't get spring onions, onions, garlic, ginger, chili peppers, lots of other things anymore.

Help with establishing a habit
I'm trying to make daily exercise a habit (again). I have arthritis and migraines that can derail my plans and when it happens, the effort to begin again seems insurmountable. Logically, I know I'll feel better when I exercise. It's just not enough to get me moving without massive effort. I'm on day 3 now.

Apple Watch sync question
So it’s been about 6 months since I’ve been on MFP. I previously had it linked to my Fitbit. I’ve recently upgraded to an Apple Watch. I have MFP set to maintenance calories. For yesterday it shows 1780 base + 258 adjustment = 2038 for the day. But my Apple Watch app shows 2347. That’s over 300 calories difference. It’s…

Preventing water retention
I have a bunch of hobbies that often mean spending hours on my feet, in the same spot in the kitchen-baking, cake decorating, etc. And if I’m not doing something in the kitchen, I’m sitting at my sewing machine the entire afternoon. The issue I run into with both scenarios is water retention in my calves. I can eat very…
