Covid-19 gym etiquette?
My gym has a policy (as it should) that you wipe down your equipment after use for the next person. But do you also wipe down all weights? Some people seem to be doing it, while others don’t wipe down smaller weights (5 and 10 lbs weights). What’s your take?

Accurate calories data on Fitbit v. Myfitness Pal
Hi there. Just wondering the accuracy of calories to record. I went swimming this morning and run my Fitbit the entire time - 45 minutes. It only gives 109 calories. But if I use the data on Myfitness Pal and chose the "swimming leisurely" is 150 more... What do you all do?

Gaining a pound
So, I’d love to know everyone’s thoughts-how exactly do you gain a pound? I was just reading about how the whole 3,500 calories per pound number is a myth, so if I go even one calorie over my number of calories burned for the day am I in trouble? I find it very hard to believe that, even if I were to burn between 2,000 and…

How clean was your diet while actively losing weight?
I know that if I'm within my calories it won't matter. But I noticed that cleaner my diet lesser is my hunger. Then one day out of boredon I try to add in a treat. And suddenly I'm more hungry than never. And I surely end up going over my calories for the day. Those of you who successfully reduced a good amount of weight n…

Unexplained weight gain -- frustrating!
Well guess I spoke to soon the other day when I was 1/2 a pound away from being the 200's for the first time since high school. Somehow I'm all the way up to 305 today - just a few short days later. Been eating at or under my calories every day. No idea what the hell happened but not happy about it. Was very hard to see…

7 wks of cardio and nothing? Why?
I’ve resumed my workout routine since my gym reopened seven weeks ago. I run on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 5.5-6.0 m/ph speed. That’s very intense for me. I have NOT been tracking my daily caloric intake and assume i am getting 1800-2200 calories per day. My target for a deficit is 1700. But no results whatsoever???!…

Eating lifestyle change need exercise at home
Hello everyone, I’m new to the forums. My life before was fast food 6-8 times per week, eating a large pizza on Saturday while watching football. You may think this is an exaggeration but I was drinking almost 2 24 packs of sodas a week as well. I decided a diet wasn’t exactly going to help and I needed to change my eating…

How to calculate exercise calories
Hi all, Trying to understand my base calories. MFP says 1200 per day. I exercise most days around 300 calories.. so MFP automatically increases my calorie allowance to 1500. My question - if i eat 1500 calories won’t that mean i won’t lose weight? Shouldn’t i still be eating 1500 to stay in a dedicate? Thanks for your…

Does it matter when you eat ?
Hi, I’ve been tracking my macros for a few weeks now. And I have a question. Does it matter when you eat ? What I mean is, should the calories be evenly spread out through the day or can you have 2 large meals and no 3rd or only a small 3rd meal. For years I’ve read that you can only digeste a small amount of protein at…
