Maybe a silly question: when you hit maintenance can you still have refeed/ cheat days?
I'm thinking when I hit maintenance il one in the habit of having that cheat day a week - would you obviously gain weight so need to learn a new behaviour ? Or could you go slightly under maintenance all week for your cheat day ? Sorry if this seems silly.

I've gained 7 lbs and I don't know why!!!
So, I'd gotten down to 138. I was happy knew that I wasn't far from my goal. In order to reach the goal, I ran 2 miles per day four days per week and did a little light lifting. I ate around 1200 calories and stuck to it. After the year was up, I realized that I had low metabolism and just couldn't run anymore. I felt…

I've been here before, lost 35lb. Then I changed jobs, and now I'm having to relearn how much I can eat because my old job was very physically demanding, and my new one is quite sedentary. Gained 5lb, so I'm back to tracking. So far so good

Lost momentum
After 3 years of constant logging and monitoring, I lost 45 lbs, which was honestly about 10lbs below my goal weight. I got rid of all my clothes that…

Compliment or Criticism...?
Does anyone else get the comment, "You're not still trying to lose weight... are you?!" I just don't understand... Is this supposed to be…

What 'food rules' or 'life rules' do you live by to maintain your weight?
It seems to me that everyone has sort of a food philosophy when it comes to the way they approach their lives and I was curious what personal standbys some of you may have to continue having success in weight maintenance. Some examples I've heard in the past are: 1) I count my calories every day, my limit is XXXX per…
