Fussy eaters in the house!! Keto recipes ple
Hi I am doing the Keto diet and loving all the eggs, fish and cheese I can have. Unfortunately I live with a fussy eater so I'm wondering if there is any recipes or suggestions for meals that are keto but DON'T include eggs, fish, ham or broccoli please? I'd prefer to be doing one main dinner than 2 separate. Thanks!

Tried and True Zucchini
What are your tried and loved zucchini recipes? The zucchini plant has been bountiful in true zucchini fashion. So far I've...* sautéed it with thyme and rosemary-pretty good * baked lemon zucchini bread- pretty good but not helping me stay under my calorie budget. I'm about to stuff and fry the blossoms...wish me luck!…

Apple recipes needed
It's that time of year again, I have 3 apple trees which usually yield around 10 large boxes of cooking apples. Half of which I can usually give away / force upon family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues. I have just finished the last of the stewed apples and damsons out of the freezer from last year. Please no jam or…

ISO a coffee-dunking cookie
Hi friends! I'm looking for a cookie recipe that I can dunk in my coffee or some milk that will absorb the liquid a little bit without falling apart - something like actual Chips Ahoy in texture. But of course, I'm on a diet, and low calorie and/or high protein cookies would really save me from that craving~ Any recipes…

Protein powder
Sometimes at night I want something salty (unhealthy, I know), and hot temperature wise to sip while relaxing with the hubby. I tried adding whey protein powder to chicken broth, or soup I've blended in the bullet. Love the flavor and comfort. Problem I'm having is that the protein powder curdles on me and turns gross. Is…

Correct way to enter a new recipe
I've entered a new recipe and set it at 4 servings. When I add that recipe to my diary and set the serving at 1 serving, it doesn't break the nutritional values down per serving but adds the entire recipes values (all 4 servings), which throws everything off. I adjusted it by entering a 1/4 serving instead, but I must be…

Pumpkin Spice Protein Pancakes - Recipe
My partner and I are both huuuuuge pumpkin spice fans (we fall into every stereotype about autumn-loving people there is), and today I whipped up some pumpkin spice pancakes for us to enjoy on this lazy Sunday morning. This recipe is easy and quick, and very straightforward to adapt to your tastes. This is what were in…

Need a Slow-Cooker Recipe Please
Just looking for something fun to do this weekend. I'm really working on that whole plan-your-meals-for-the-week thing, so I figure something in a crock pot could give me the volume I need. Not too picky; no dietary restrictions, no allergies. I don't like avocado. If it works with rice, sweet! I'm a grad student, and rice…

Let me hear your well intended healthy recipe FAILS
Laughter is the best medicine and sometimes when we try our hardest to make something great, it's good to laugh when it comes out a flaming hot mess. Yesterday I made my staple summer zucchini bread but I tweaked it a bit to make it heather. The problem was, I went overboard with the tweaking. I cut the sugar in half, then…

Paleo freezer lunches and dinners
On Sundays, I like to cook for the whole week. Dinners I can do... Though it´s usually a full day of measuring everything and dividing it into portions. Lunches on the other hand, I find them to be very difficult. Get some leftovers you say? Usually my dinners are filled with (healthy) fats... If I'd eat them for lunch as…

Easy London Fog Latte at Home- and other homemade drinks!
I had one at Starbucks not too long ago and fell in love with this. And since it is actually super easy to make at home, I have been pleased with my recipe for making it and I thought I would share. 1 Earl Grey tea bag (I really think any type with lavender makes this drink awesome) 8 oz of nonfat milk (soy milk is also…

Sauces or Gravy
Does anyone have any low calorie recipes for a sauce or gravy I could make easily to have with meat & veg. I'm a single mum to a 2 year old and also work so some nights have to have something simple like a piece of meat and some veggies. But I always end up wasting lots of calories on instant gravy or cheese sauce. It…
