ONEderland today!
I've finally made it to ONEderland, and halfway to my goal! I started at 260, and am headed to 140. Is it sad that today is the happiest day since my wedding day? LOL! (No, I don't have kids, so I'm not that horrible a person.) :)

My NSV that made me cry!!
I just started MFP a little over two months ago and I read everyone's success stories all the time and it really helps me keep going strong on my new lifestyle! So here is a little bit of my story. At my heaviest weight I weighed 201 pounds when I went in to deliver both of my daughters, which I had my youngest daughter 2…

*Steps Up 2 The Mic* Testing Testing Is This Thing On?
Hey everyone. I thought I would just post my progress pics. Just a brief note regarding my journey. I've done all the fad diets. I've taken extreme measures to lose weight. None of them worked except dedication, determination and keeping myself positive. I had & still have to be very proactive in learning about weight loss…

About halfway there...with pics
SO I have gone back and forth with posting pics or not posting pics but I finally decided to share. I started off 90 days ago at 205 pounds. Today I am 174.4. I am about halfway to my goal. I am so embarrassed by my before pictures and I have a long way to go still but I am proud of how far I have come!

55 lbs down! Still a work in progress :)
At 5'2' and nearly 200 lbs in 2007, I made excuses about my laziness and poor eating habits. I never been a "skinny" girl. Always a little bit 'thick', but this was outta control. Over the course of 4 years, I went through the ups and downs of weight loss...losing 20 in 2008 gaining back 10 then losing 10 again. I decided…

Hello All! This is my first post EVER! I have been on MFP for 2 months. I love it! I can see everything much more clearly when it comes to food and exercise! I officially started my weight loss journey in late November with a friend at a phen weight loss clinic. She off course quickly lost her 15 vanity pounds; well I…

I love NSV's!
I have to admit I am becoming a HUGE fan of the NSV!! Ha! I was doing my hair this morning and I was looking into a smaller mirror to view the backside of my head in the larger, my focus was on a stray piece of hair that kept misbehaving when I caught something move across my shoulder out of the corner of my eye... (I'm…

NSV - old dress
I love these NSV stories, so I had to share mine! I was cleaning out closets today and came across a dress I wore on my honeymoon almost 14 years ago. It's a cute, very colorful summery dress in a size 10. I just loved it and was sad when it wouldn't fit anymore. I didn't even realize that I kept it all these years. I…

Two NSVs this week :)
This week has been a real confidence booster, especially since the scale has stopped moving for the past few weeks! Yesterday I was at a preschool class that I teach a lesson at once a week, and one of the teachers said to me, "I've been meaning to tell you, but you are turning into a skinny-mini"! I was so excited-- I…

Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye!
The first picture was taken in February. I started MFP in March. The second picture was taken yesterday, April 28, 2011. That is 9.5 INCHES GONE! I know I still have a long ways to got but I feel so good about how my body is changing!

A hammer and a chisel....
Is what got these 5 pounds off. I need to remember that it's slow work, but it's good work and it will keep the weight off. I also thought this: it's HARD no matter what. It's hard to weigh and measure and remember and be aware (although it's the best and most healthy way to live, for me)....but it's also HARD to have…

NSV
Good Morning All I have struggled with weight for many many years. I lost about 60 lbs before hitting a plateau and eventually gaining about 8 lbs back in 2010. I went to the doctor and it was recommended to track what I ate and exercise. This site was recommended to me by a friend. I really like it and it has gotten me…

19 lbs down ... WHOA! (Photos included!)
*Sorry guys, I couldn't figure out how to get the image up, so I put it up as my profile photo* So my heaviest was at 250, and after almost two months of working my butt off (litterally) and eating ridiuclously well with the aid of MFP, I am 19lbs lighter. Yay! Mind you I still have about 81 lbs to go ...but I'm well on my…

MY NSV
I know I'm not a good dad for not sharing this earlier but below is my NSV moment. My daughter wrote this note and put it in an envelope the night before Easter. I get visitation with my kids every other weekend and it just happened that they were with me over the holiday. She gave me the envelope Easter morning. If you…

31 lbs lost! 3rd time around!
Hey everyone, here are some before and afters. Before, I weighed 287 which has been my highest weight ever! Right now I am 256!! This is my 3rd time doing my weightloss journey. I successfully lost a big amount both other times. Unfortunately I had some health issues that caused me to go off the wagon and gain some weight.…

It's not much for you guys, but...
For me it's a small victory that I'm proud of. With some walking time, I ran 2 kms today =D It's not much, I know, because I didn't run without walking, but two weeks ago I couldn't force myself to get up and after 100 metres I was sweaty and out of breath. I wish all of you a wonderful, healthy day <3

NSV that made me feel sexy again
I am not anywhere near where I want to be but I was getting ready for bed last night and my husband said "damn you are really showing some curves now, your tummy is so skinny now!!" I love him and how he makes me feel so good about how hard I have been working!!

NSV -- my favorite dress!
Just wanted to share a little NSV that totally made my day! Several years ago, I had bought this fabulous dress from Banana Republic for a cousin's wedding. It's strapless, silky, with big orange hibiscus-like flowers on it; it's a size 8 and it had fit me perfectly at the time (so I never got rid of it). Three years ago,…

First NSV
I am so happy to share my NSV! Today I am wearing a dress that I bought after baby #2 last year and was only able to wear once before I packed on the pounds when I returned to work. Feels good! It is 2 sizes smaller than what I have been wearing!

Unbelievable - even to my Doctor!
Years ago I was diagnosed with runaway diabetes, high blood pressure and "immeasurable" cholesterol. Your triglycerides are to be under 150. Mine were 3,576 just two years ago. After many visits to various doctors we had pounded that number down to 550. As you may expect I received 3 stents on March 29th of this year.…

14 NSV!
For the last 9 weeks my employer has been doing a "get fit" program where we check in with a personal trainer each week, log our cals and exercise, etc. It worked out well since I started MFP about 13 weeks ago. I knew I had been losing some weight and fat from my scale, handheld monitor, the way my clothes fit, but hadn't…

NSV It means a lot to me..
After several failed attempts at sticking to an exercise regimen the light has finally clicked on for me. I was super tired after just having an emotionally draining day and working through my inner issues.I really didn't feel like working out. However, I got off my *kitten* at 10 pm and did it anyway. I was grumbling all…
