C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E Good Times...
I'm 5 pounds and 1 month away from my Set Goal Weight!! I'm so happy and can't believe that it's really been 5 months since I started getting healthier. I have hit every monthly goal on time and am on track for that final number! Can't wait to go SHOPPING!!! However...I think my goal weight has changed...I might just keep…

NSV - New (old) pants
Today I am wearing a pair of dress pants to work that I have not had on in probably 5-6 years. Granted the waist is a little snug, but I'm not going to bust the seams like I would have 6 months ago. Plus, I now need to go buy a belt to go with these new pants because the old one is on it's last hole and it's still too big.

I have been hemming and hawwing about doing this but having looked at so many wonderfull successes I thought why not maybe I can be an inspiration to someone the way…

Measurements down!!!
Ok, so I have lost 8 lbs my first month, but the measurements makes it worth all of the work!!! After starting MFP, I realized I was not even eating half enough to fuel my body. I was training martial arts for 10 years and only lost 10 pounds in that time??!! I guess when everyone always says "if you are overweight, then…

From there I have lost and gained. Last New Years (2010) a friend at work started eating…

Happy Happy Days
Who would have thought that I would be saying I lost 20 lbs. I started with a very tiny goal, to get under 200, that was only 7 lbs away but it felt like the biggest hurdle. After i reached that goal I said hey lets get to190.. This took me a while, but got there. And today I stepped on the scale and saw 20 lbs WOW!!! 187…

the most unexpected NSV, while in China!
I just returned today from a business trip in Beijing, and there are many NSVs that tickle me pink! :) Before going to China, I made it my goal to return more fit and healthier. I really didn't know if I was going to accomplish it, especially given all the eating out and yummy meals/snacks served at hotels, but at least I…

A little history and my six week success!
What's my story? Pull up a chair.... I've always been fat. Well, except for those few years in high school when I had a growth spurt and finally "grew into my body". Those were good times. Of course, my body caught back up to my height and all those new clothes no longer fit. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. See that…

I have to remember that even little success is better than f
Okay so I started at 216 and currently at 197. Yesterday I put on a pair of jeans that i had to lay down to button sept 10'. They zipped right up and although I still have muffin top with i sit, if my posture is good i dont have any hangover when standing! I still have another 50 lbs to go maybe 80 depending on where im…

Random NSV (and suggestions?)
NSV:: I have 4 rings that I wear all the time, well they keep getting looser and looser, and this morning I woke up having to search the bed for my wedding ring! it fell off! I have always had fat fingers, so this is a BIG deal to me as silly as it sounds! Also, I swear to you, I lost weight in my feet! I am a HUGE fan of…

LMAO (ALMOST!) NSV
Like many of you, I have been on a diet/weight loss plan almost since birth. During this go round, I have managed to lose about 28 pounds since Christmas. Last week, I was asked to perform a wedding ceremony for a friend's son. Since their colors were black and red, I figured I would wear my robe with my beautiful red…

my first NSV
I've been on MFP for around 2 months now. I've been trying to keep exercising, not always consistently though, and eating right, even though I haven't been logging it in my food diary. I've been frustrated that I've been bouncing back and forth with 5lbs lost and 5 lbs gained. I would offer up the excuse that I'm a full…

YAY!!!!!!!
I was trying on clothes last night that I haven't worn in a long time and guess what???? Yep, I was able to fit into one my most favorite pair of jeans without jumping around or doing a litte dance AND I was able to fit into a size 6 pencil skirt. In my adult life, I have NEVER been able to wear a size 6. That was great…

NSV and timely coupon
So this morning I put on my favorite work trousers and notice how loose they are getting. These are the trousers that were getting to the uncomfortably snug point two months ago when I found MFP. They are actually loose enough to slip off without unbuttoning!! In the midst of the jubilation and happy dancing, I realize I…

-35lbs. 1/2 way to goal (Pics.)
I have lost a total of 40lbs. but i took a picture at -35lbs because that was the half way mark to my goal. I never planned on sharing these pictures:blushing: but i was inspired to do so after seeing many other members share theirs. New NSV
So, in the past day or two I have come to terms with the fact that the belt that I bought about 2 weeks ago is almost to the useless point. It is too big. My jeans that I bought about a month and a half ago are falling off my *kitten*. And for the first time in the 3 years that I have had my boots, I have had to tighten…

NSV-
So I have been struggling with staying within my calories, everytime I say to myself today is the day something seems to come up. A dinner invitation, a long afternoon out of the house with a car full of my sons easter goodies, easter brunch (pot luck style), I know it sounds like a bunch of excuses, and I know it is (my…

I don't get much support at home, but I absolutely love all of you amazing people. On January 1, I joined a challenge created…

Credit Where It's Due
Do you give yourself credit where it's due? Are you being too hard on yourself? Because I see a ton of wonderful, beautiful people on this website who are constantly down on themselves. They went over on calories one day, they skipped the gym another day, and they had ice cream last night for dessert. They gained a pound…

ONEDERLAND! :)
I made it! Today! I can't believe it! I'm so excited! I have been so proud of myself. Last week, I ran about 16 miles! :) I'm consistently under or about at my calorie goal! 5'2 125
does this sound healthy? or too big? I'm seeing some posts here into the lower 100's for people 5'2 and I'm wondering if my goal should be lower than 125?

My first NSV!!!
Last year I had my fourth child. A few weeks after giving birth, I weighed 243 lbs and did not recognize myself- last summer's clothes were all purchased at a plus sized store and I just wanted to cry... Fast forward to today- it's hot here so I put on my khakis- they are HUGE! I can pull them off and on without…

Who has or had 100lbs+ too loose?
I really love seeing all of the BIG success stories and the BIG motivation to have great success. I myself have over 100lbs to loose and for the first time in my life am SERIOUSLY trying to shed it. I have been on MFP now for over a month and have lost 12lbs. Since I began my weight loss journey earlier this year I have…
