Customise app navigation bar
It would be lovely if we could customise the navigation bar on the android app with the areas of the site we use the most. I never click into recipes or plans, but would be delighted if community and nutrition were more convenient to get to. I suspect other people have their own preferred buttons too.

Time and alarm functions to assist intermittent fasting
I use an app to guide my intermittent fasting. It works fine with respect to time management, but the UI is terrible and it bombards user to purchase a “premiere” subscription. Time and alarm functions in MFP would make any IF apps redundant. I could follow my IF practice without any app, but I find that it enhances…

Selectable macro goals
I have different macro numbers depending on whether I’m doing an active, recovery, or rest day and it would be helpful for me to be able to set up some profiles for those that are easily selectable in app. Currently I can use the goals by day feature, but if I’m listening to my body and need to take a recovery day when I…

Auto-check the checkbox for food/exercise changes
When a user edits the quantity value in the 'Add Food' (or exercise) entry page (in the list of Recent, Frequent, etc.), automatically set the checkbox to 'checked' for that line item. Setting the checkbox automatically, presumes the user wants to add the item to their log (i.e. we are assuming they're not editing the…

Community Feed
I'm new to MFP, and from what I can tell my "feed" consists of just my friends. Part of what made me enjoy SparkPeople so much, and made me so successful with SparkPeople, was the Community Feed. This was a public feed that was consistently updated (not like a discussion board) where everyone was able to communicate…

Bring back container serving size
There was a container serving size before. For example, 600 calories per bag/can/tray. It was just the total calories in a container of food. This was helpful when you do meal prep and use half a bag or can for each meal. You can just put 1/2 container instead of calculating the serving size separately.

Nutrients Remaining Bar: add target macro and cals
A small bother on the helpful Android Diary bar for remaining macro grams and calories is that there's no display of the target totals I'm trying to meet - don't always remember especially after modifying them, so have to click to an empty page or Goals to see. Could be in different type or color e.g. "Protein 40g of 160g"…

Sharing recipes with friends
I am the main cook in the family. Both my husband and I are trying to loose weight and so I am adapting recipes to be lower calories. I create them in my profile and then I add my portion, he then has to copy it across as a meal and adjust for his portion. It's clumsy. It would be much easier if my friends were able to…

To Developer: Vendor Request
My company, Digital Streamlining Unlimited, is in the customer service business, and occasionally we do independent customer service audits to see if companies can actually comply with the Human Rights Act of Canada, and actually accommodate disabled Canadians for their disabilities. I would like to request that your…

turn off swipe left/right to change day in diary entry mode interferes with delete option
I find deleting multiple entries for a day is harder than it should be because the swipe left/right to change the day gets activated half the time I'm trying to delete an entry. Please allow this to be turned off so delete is easier

MFP Website Update
I was wondering if there were any plans to update the way MFP looks and operates in the web browser and the app? Just feels like it could use a face lift

Nutrients expressed as percentages
When I look at my daily or weekly nutritional numbers, I have three requests: 1. Reorder/rename the columns to average, remaining, and goal. 2. Use percentage instead of the actual numbers with green, yellow, red to indicate progress. 3. Rather than express the overage amount as a negative number show it as a PLUS to…

Preview Intake
I would find it helpful to be able to “quick preview” a food’s nutritional info without having to use the add food option to know what the impact might be should I choose to eat it.

Entries with hidden calories and macros
I am trying to switch over to a kind of passive calorie counting, where I would journal during the day and then later log in everything to see if I am hitting my goals in macros, calories etc. if I am over- or undereating. I have only started doing this for 2 days but I see positive changes already in my mindset. (It's…

Better visibility of 'post under review' notices
On mobiles the notice for a post being delayed until it has been reviewed is not very noticeable. It is small and appears at the bottom of the screen. Making it more visible (like move to top or red color or something else to provide high contrast) will help it be noticed by posting users, and cut down on duplicate posts…

Stretching
I've started a personalized exercise routine that includes cardio, strength and stretching. I can track the first 2 easily, but MFP has no stretching section (like yoga). I have to use Notes. I appreciate stretching isn't a calorie burner but it's an important part of a rounded routine. Good strength training includes a…

Poster's name cut off in first new response
Would it be possible to include the first new responder's name along with their post when viewing new responses? Right now the first "new response" has the poster's name cut off so I have to scroll up to see who posted it.

Apple Watch - Rings
We need more complications on apple watch like the app MyNetDiary. There can be complications for Macros - 3 rings for highlighting Carbs, Fats and Proteins. There can be more complications for steps, water. Further complications can include Calorie Intake vs Deficit or Calorie Credit vs Debit score as per the daily goals.…

Sugar
I think it would be awesome to have the nutrients list also include "added sugar". Or some way to distinguish added sugar vs sugar that is naturally found in the whole foods i am eating. That way i could keep track of how much added sugar i am consuming like what gets put in a yogurt or a milk alternative vs when i just…

Is there a way to track everyone’s progress in a group?

Does anyone know how to switch from “macros remaining” to “macros consumed”?
This might just be a question for premium members, but I have no clue how to switch the macros display setting so that it’s not showing how many grams are “remaining”, that’s kinda confusing. I’d rather see how many grams i’ve consumed in the day so far. Same with calories. Ive been looking forever and can’t find that…

Weighs & measurements
Everytime I search for a product to enter on myfitnesspalon, i find that there is a wide variety of different terms for weighs & measurements: e.g one bowl of soup, or two spoons of sugar, etc. There needs to be consistency to obtain a more accurate calorie or fat, sugar intake with each item. Why not use metric, grams,…
