Combatting Stress Eating
Still on my typical yo-yo, but trying to figure out how to combat it for a lifetime. I’m reaching out for suggestions and help with working through stress eating. The stress is likely not to go away any time soon. Maybe a better coping mechanism? I’ve tried a lot of different paths, and am aware of the problem. I just…

RED STRETCH MARKS VS WHITE STRETCH MARKS
I used to think red stretch marks meant gaining weight and white ones meant your losing because i always saw white ones when i was losing then i read somewhere that red just means new ones and white are old ones and u just seem them more when u lose weight because your skin is less stretched out so they are more visible.…

I've done it for over a month and no loss. I combined it with 18:6 fasting as well. Seems a bit strange to have NO loss at all - am I alone in this?

Correct calorie burn
I have just got a fitbit and it says ive burned 900 calories on a 160min walk. I am a 5,9 female and weigh 166lbs. Does this sound correct? I am slightly in shock as my samsung health which I know is less accurate says around 500. Do other people on here get good results from going by their fitbit data?

High blood sugar on keto???
Ive been following a keto diet for a few weeks now. For whatever reason even eating low carb is making my blood sugar high. Example: only had 38g carbs total today, but my pre dinner reading was 206. Is this the body adjusting, or does a damaged liver come into play here???

How to set calorie goals?
I'm trying to lose fat, but I'm not sure exactly how many calories I should be telling myfitness is my goal since it is synched with other apps that tell it how much I work out and adjust for calories. I am using this calorie calculator: https://legionathletics.com/how-many-calories-should-i-eat/ It asked "how much do you…

At ideal weight but family says too skinny
About five years ago, I dropped 30 pounds and have maintained that weight ever since... well, plus or minus 10 pounds. Family and friends said I looked great. However, all these resources said I was still "overweight", which was surprising to me. So for a wedding two years ago, I dropped another 12 pounds. When that…

Fitbit calories?
Hi, I recently connected my fitbit to mfp. I have around 8k steps and I'm being given an extra 700+ calories for the day. I feel like that's pretty high, but maybe it's accurate...? I tried looking for the calculations but I'm not understanding any of it. Anyone have resources that I can look at? I am 5'2" and 190 lb. I…

I’m not understanding MFP’s ‘goals’?
66 year old female, 5’6”, very small frame, currently 138 lbs.. When I started seriously logging food 11 weeks ago I entered my numbers and MFP set my calories at 1200 (which I believe is the default lowest recommended for women.) 1200 has worked fine for me, I’m not hungry, I’m down from 154.9 - so around 1.5 lbs. per…

Is it ok to eat back your "unused" calories all in 1 day?
I keep a spreadsheet of how many calories I consume everyday. Any calories I don't eat for my 1,500 daily limit throughout the week I add those into my "cheat meal" on Friday. Is this ok to do or am I causing myself to be malnutritioned?

The 1200kcal diet
Hello Myfitnesspal-ers, Back to a an oldie: the 1200kcal diet. There's a lot of controversy around it, with some people saying it's not nearly enough and others saying it's spot-on. One thing is true - output & input are the keys to weight loss (right?). So here's my situation. I'm a 39 year old woman in otherwise good…

Continue weight/fat loss or recomp?
I'm male 6ft and currently 73.2kgs. (11st 8) so for my height I'm Almost ideal weight. But the fat is still pretty much on the bigger side. I'm skinny fat as I've heard. I've lost nearly 19kgs in the last 6 month so I've actually found the weight loss almost easy to be honest. Fat loss on the other hand hasn't really moved…

Can't pass a Fat Loss Plateau, plus with low Muscle Mass. Can anyone assist please?
Seems I've hit a fat loss plateau and can't get past it. Can anyone help? I'm hoping to reach under 10% and hit maybe an 8% mark. My journey...again...3rd time
Hi everyone. 37 year old here from London, England. I lost 60lbs in 2007 in about 5 months - ate too little and exercised too much. Looked great but didn't teach myself enough of the lifestyle habits that would last longterm. In 2013 I lost about 50lbs in 6 months. Cut out all carbs and exercised like a demon. Again, short…
