Is this realistic eating exercise calories?
So I have set my standard calories for 1200 calories per day before exercise. I exercise every day doing at least 1 hour of LES MILLS workouts. Possibly on average 9 hours a week mostly BodyPump and Bodycombat with random workouts in between. Can I eat all these calories back?

Bathroom scales are a funny thing
I have used the same bathroom scale throughout my weight loss journey. Its an "eat smart" scale, glass top. I used it from a starting point of 273.6 pounds to now 199 with a goal of 185. You almost develop a bond with your scale when losing that much weight. Anyway over the last 3 weeks I have been confused, it has been…

Weight fluctuations
I had lost 7lbs over a couple of weeks, then I suddenly gained 3 (without a change in calories) . I thought it was just one of those blips, where weight goes up for a day with no apparent reason. But 4 days on and it’s still not dropped. I didn’t eat any more, and I’m still eating at a deficit every day. Has anyone…

Not sure how much to eat
Hello! I am 5’2, 161 lb (goal is around 120).. I obviously need to lose fat however I am doing LIIFT 4 and want to gain muscle. What is a realistic goal for daily calories to eat? Should I be worried if the scale doesn’t go down since I am working on building muscle? Just don’t want to ruin my progress and not sure how to…

Keto experts: I need clarification ...
So, Xg carbs are the LIMIT, Xg fat is the GOAL, and Xg protein is the GOAL? I tried keto before and I was confused on what to eat the most of in a day. I know fat is a main part but I wasn't sure if I am supposed to hit the max. I also know about 20g net carbs is the max but you can go under. Please clarify.

Macros and Calories
So, I've always been told that a gram of fat is roughly 9 calories, carbs are 4, and protein is 4. However, I've noticed some discrepancy when it comes to food labels. Take this tortilla. The package lists: Calories: 70 Fat: 3 Carbohydrates: 19 Protein 4. Yet, if you look at the macros, you get (3x9)+(19x4)+(5x4) which…

Can't Find It
I'm not new to MFP. I've been using it to log meals for a long time. However, I just went "premium" and am exploring some other parts of the site. Yesterday, I flagged a success story as a favorite. (It might have been in the MFP blog?) Now I can't find it and it was an amazing story and really spoke to me personally. It…

Help needed- calorie adjustment
Can anyone help me with my question please. Myfitnesspal tells me I need to eat 1200 calories to lose upto 2lb a week, but with all my exercises my calorie adjustment keeps giving me a lot more calories to use each day - my question is, in order to lose weight should I ignore those adjustments and only have a max of 1200…

So....Long time no see, anyone remember me!?
Hello! I fell off the face of the MFP forum earth for a while there huh? A LOT has happened. You'll remember I got to 60lbs lost and was chipping along nicely. Exercising with a shoulder issue?
I have had pain in my left shoulder for several years now. Last year, I visited the doctor and they found a bone spur in the joint and said it was likely from overuse. I was given a cortisone shot (which was hell), but it really helped with the pain. I was not able to continue with the recommended physical therapy because…

How to break a plateau without cutting more calories
Hey guys, I’ve been at a pretty strict 1650 cut for maybe just under a month now. I’m a girl weighing 168lbs at 5’3. I’m pretty active too. I don’t lift weights or anything but I’m diligent about getting 8-10k steps in a day, and about 4-5 days a week I do about 45 mins of strength body weight exercises that definitely…

Guidance on weightloss journey
Hello everyone! So I need some guidance on my journey. This morning I clocked in at: 203.5 pounds 18.2% body fat 77.7% muscle mass Over the last few weeks, I have been doing the Keto diet and Insanity on a daily basis. Steps or Miles?
When I used the treadmill I relied on miles but find it hard to do when I'm out walking, unless I've mapped out the exact mileage to places. I have a step/mile counter(nothing fancy) but cannot seem to adjust it correctly to my stride; I've tried to match it to what I was walking on the TM and it always came up 1/4 mile or…

Which do you trust? Barcode or package?
I’ve have it a few times where the package and the barcode do not match though they are for the correct product. This especially happens a lot with things like Asian snacks or Trader Joe’s bakes goods. Anyone know which one is more accurate and should be listened to? I take the higher cal one but I’d still like a real rule…

Using MFP, Runkeeper and Fitbit simultaneously
