Calories burned
Is there a way to add my exercise without the app calculating my calories burned? I want to stay at 1300 calories but it adds a ton more calories to my daily goal when I put my exercises in. Right now I'm not tracking my exercise because I want to stay within my calorie limit. Any suggestions?

New to App and really need some advice
Hi, I'm new to this App, started it over a month ago and have only lost 6lbs. Im sticking to 1200 calories a day and cooking foods from the Hairy Dieters book ensuring all foods are below 5% fat. Need help and advice on how to increase weight loss. Btw husband is following the same plan as has lost 1 stone.

My lost KG's aren't showing up in my profile?
When I open my profile it says I have lost 0kg in 40 days? Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? Yes I do update my weight progress weekly. It's extremely discouraging to see the 0KG lost when I know I'm losing weight!

I've Seen a few others that I have friended saying they have lost this much since the last weigh in. I've only been here 3 days so sorry if it's a stupid question. But where would I put it if I lost weight?

strength training and calories burned
Unless I'm entering my strength training wrong, MFP isn't calculating and calories burned for doing it, only when I enter cardio. I'm putting in the exercises I've done with sets/reps/weight. I'm just trying to figure this thing out. :smiley: Thanks!!

MFP vs TDEE. what works best for you?
Hey guys Just curious, what do you guys prefer? Do you set your net calorie goals in MPG using your TDEE calculations without logging exercise, or do you let MFP set your net calories and log your exercise to make sure you hit your deficit? What works/has best results for you?

First week weigh-in
I stepped on the scale this morning and I am down 8.4 lbs :D I am stoked! I am 53 years old, and 5'7". My cals have been set on sedentary (thought I set it on lightly active but was mistaken) at 1650 cals a day.
