Broken my plateau!
I've finally broken my plateau. I was stuck at the same weight for 3 weigh-ins then last week I put on 2 lbs. Grrr! This week I have lost 2.6lbs since last week. 2lbs to go til I reach a healthy BMI and 10lbs til target! So relieved thought I'd never lose anymore! Just hope I don't get stuck there again!

NSV Favorite Jeans
So I put on my favorite jeans, straight out of the dryer... And was able to pull them down completely without unbuttoning them. I've only lost five lbs, but I can definitely tell I'm toning up!

More NSV
I went into Next this evening and tried on some of their trousers, just for interest.... Size 18 fitted really well around legs & hips - could do them up, but slightly tight. Size 16 could actually get them on up to my hips, but no chance of doing them up - which for me is great as previously if I'd tried a 16 on I…

My NSV - Stripes
I know that horizontal stripes aren't the best thing for heavy people to wear, but I found this shirt at the resale store and kind of fell in love with it. I think it looks okay, maybe not spectacular, but okay. I will settle for okay because before I would have thought it looked horrible. I sent this picture to some of my…

MPV Saved My Life
Weight loss and diet changes have paid off!!! Doctor just reduced one BP med and eliminated the other. Thank you MyFitnessPal.com and the American Heart Association's DASH diet nutrition recommendations. This is huge. I went from so obese and dangerously high blood pressure to normal BP and reducing my meds. Once you've…

Life After Success
I've lost 140 pounds in all and have kept it off for two years by running, working out and when I get off track keeping a food diary. When I was 290 pounds I would envision myself thin and that would be the be all, end all. Now I'm dealing with the loose skin and body image issues that still need to be dealt with, those…

Starting vs. Current Measurements
I took my first set of measurements only 1 month after I had my baby.... I know I shouldn't have been so hard on myself then, but I was disgusted with what I saw. (more with my legs and back, and arms and such... I knew my stomach was going to drastically shrink soon.) I took it very very easy at first. I was only doing…

My First NSV :)
Hi MFP! I’m not sure if NSV is “New Size Victory” or “New Scale Victory” but today I weighed in and to date I have lost a total of 10.8 pounds. I cannot remember the last time I weighed 162. I am still not comfortable to post pictures of myself but after I lose those last 12 pounds and reach my goal weight I’ll check back…

I can't tell if there is a major difference...do you?
300 lbs. 2005/6 I never kept track and hated to have pics taken of me cause of how overweight I was(50% bodyfat) 231 lbs Fall 2010. First day of MFP(35% bodyfat) 210 lbs, 35 days after starting MFP(28% bodyfat) 193-4 lbs, the 28th of November it will be three months(20-21% bodyfat) AND here are the newest pics of me. I can…

17 down 13 to go!
Actually it's more like 47 down 13 to go since around Christmas! 30 of that came with illness though, so I'm not counting. I love this site, and I love the way I look and feel since dropping the pounds. Once you get on a roll with the weight loss it starts to become easier and easier...never give up!

pictures don't lie!
Hi all; this is my first time posting pictures. It's kinda wierd "sharing with the world"! But seeing as I enjoy reading others' success stories & seeing their before and after photos, I thought I'd post some of my own too. I'm not at my goal; still have a way to go. But it's nice to stop and look at the progress I've…

Loss of the dreaded double-chin...
Despite my family telling me, I've not really noticed any weight lost over the past year or so. Today I was flicking through some old photos and found some truly horrible ones of my school formal. I began to notice the difference in my face - particularly, my flabby chin! It's disappearing!!!! I've lost about 35…

Nearly halfway to goal - can anyone actually see a differenc
I'm nearly halfway towards my goal and although i can definitely feel the difference i don't really see it in the photos. Can anyone see a difference? I need some more motivation to keep me going! They're not the best photos (i don't like having my photo taken). The first one is in April 2010 when i was about 208lbs. The…

NSV- Exercised myself right out of my pants!
So, last night I was doing my 30 Day Shred. Several exercises on there have you jumping. Well, during the high knees I noticed my exercise capris slipping a little. Didn't think much about it as I"ve always had PLENTY to catch them. Well, a few minutes later when I was jumping again, they actually cleared the last "bump"…

Thank you MFP Members!
After about two years of being successful, I lost traction for several reasons and gained 7- 10 pounds over 3 months. It was an awful feeling to not want to or feel like getting up and working out, even when I knew I would feel so much better. I tried so many things to help me get my mind focused back on eating right…

Wanted to share my weight loss picture :)
Heres me before and after diet and exercise, I know before I was not massive, although I was incredibly unhappy with myself, but now I am happier :) http://i.imgur.com/VPz13.jpg

Need some motivation?
So far this week: * I lost three pounds in three days! * Finished my first week of Insanity today! * Bought a pair of jeans in a size that I haven't fit into in 6 years! Wow, what a great week it's been! Guess that's what happens when you set daily goals for yourself & really stick to them! :)

not logging food(yikes!!)...my results
So I chose to not log starting in Janaury 2011. Wanted to see how I did on my own without logging and knowing exactly how much I was eating every second of the day!! Just eating balanced. Eyeballing portions. I logged the past two days to see how how much I was eating. Over 200 calories more per day. My body seems to agree…

NSV
I'm only 12 lbs down, but apparently it shows (I don't notice it yet). Not one, not two, but THREE coworkers commented that they could tell I'm losing weight!!! Yes!

Got my scale batteries back...
I had to beg my husband for them and promise that I wouldn't get discouraged if I hadn't lost any weight. I also had to promise that I'd only weigh myself once and give the batteries back when he gets home. I started this 5 1/2 weeks ago but took almost 2 weeks off while my sister was here. I didn't work out and we went…

Mini success...
Just wanted to post here that 2 people in the last week recommended I get NEW CLOTHES as mine are hanging off creating a "frumpy butt"... FELT GOOD! :) :) :) Even though I looked like a hobbo...

Skinny Jean Victory!
Yay! I can take off my slim fit LEI's w/out undoing the fly or button...so psyched to know all this work paying off! I've been noticing feeling smaller and firmer ( so has my bf, LOL) but to have concrete proof its awesome:happy: BTW, no cheating either...jeans came right out of the wash. Anyone else have a denim joy…
