I was a good girl yesterday!
Yesterday I went shopping at Costco, I woke up about noon so I didn't eat breakfast or lunch yet. I was starving by the time I was done shopping so I decided to eat at the food court. Well, the choices are few but I decided on the pepporoni pizza slice. I didn't eat it all but I counted the calories and logged that in.…

How do you reward yourself + stay focused?
When you reach a mini goal, how do you reward yourself without sabotaging your bigger goals? During all of my previous (unsuccessful) diets I would lose some weight, be elated, then I'd tell myself 'oh, I can eat this or skip the gym because I've earned it!' and then those 'rewards' would set me back to where I started -…

The last time I got a license, I lied lied lied about my weight! I shaved off MANY pounds on it! They must have gotten a good laugh at…

Old clothes NSV!
My old clothes were getting pretty baggy, today I got my box of old clothes that were too small for me out of the garage. I just ditched a whole bunch of XL shirts for L shirts and 3 pair of 36 jeans for 2 34s and a 32! They aren't even snug anymore!

However, last year I was pushing the 190 mark so to be at 153 this year is a huge accomplishment. I put on last years dress and…

Day 30 - Still counting!
Thanksgiving was good... we had *TWO* Thanksgiving dinners... a basic one on Thursday then a big one the next day when one of our family members returned to San Diego after duty on the USS Carl Vinson. I ate lots of great food and I know I went over my calorie count but that was OK. I had dropped 10 pounds before…
