What do you see in these?
The first two pictures are around 145ish soon after I started losing weight. These two are at 133. I see smaller saddle bags, the bra fits better (but still off), slimmer stomach (no muffin top anymore), less back fat from the bra!

I am now finally ready to get started again and after my first week i have dropped 4lbs so i am really pleased to see the scales finally shift. I am hoping i can get back into this again…

Doctor visit: My success
This week was time for a check up with the local sawbones. I anticipated big kudos for my weight loss efforts and hoped that the combination of that and the exercise brought my blood pressure down from borderline high. During my annual physical last November I weighed in at about 260 pounds with a blood pressure of…

What % have you lost?
So in a way to try and boost my motivation today I thought I'd work out how much percentage of my body weight I'd lost so far. I figured it would be pretty small but I was surprised to find I'd lost 12.29%! That's such a lot more than I expected and is a great way to boost my determination. So tell me, what's your %??

Here's to a small victory...
I'm relatively new here and completely ready to change my life. I've been reading your stories and posts and I must say that all of your successes have helped to keep me inspired. I can't wait to post my own before and after photos... But, on to my victory for the week... I'm a mildly active mom, but never had the drive to…

A New Me - Happy Anniversary.

The only sad thing about losing 35 pounds..
is that I gave away my WHOLE closet, practically, last night. That's about 30 pairs of nice jeans that my mother and I had a fun time imaging how I used to fit into, and almost 60 shirts. That's like $1000. If not more. Losing weight is not cheap..

Does 29 Pounds Lost Constitute a Success?
My friend, Stu in Tokyo, prompted me to download the app and start tracking my food intake. I started about 6 weeks ago and set my daily caloric intake at 2100 then changed it to 1800 a few weeks in. I didn't weigh when I started but I'm confident that I was few pounds North of 290. Today, I stepped on bathroom scales and…

too much protein?
This is my first week using my fitness pal. 2 years ago I lost 20 lbs and always like to find new ways to keep it off (since I'm a serious yo-yo dieter) but this is the first time that I've had my protein tracked. Yesterday I far exceeded my protein intake, but stayed within fat calories and carbs. Is this considered a bad…
