Transferring Libra data
Hey all, I use Libra right now, but my phone is on the verge of combusting. I haven't decided what kind of phone I will buy next, but I am wondering if it's possible to transfer the data if I happen to get an iPhone (or any phone that doesn't use Libra). Thanks!

Workout advice going from 5x5
I've been doing the 5x5 for awhile and I really like it. I'd like to try doing a 3x8 workout and do a few more exercises per workout. I'd also like to go to a body segment type thing. Chest, back one day, shoulders, arms and tri's the next workout. I'd like to incorporate some of the 5x5 lifts just not sure what would be…

A question about newbie gains
I’m not a pro at this and just thought some others more experienced could help me. I use to workout about a year ago not real heavy weights and only a few exercises. Then I stopped and am now focused on heavy lifting and wondering would newbie gains still be available to me? I had others tell me about them but not sure how…

Mini cut before bulk?
Guys, I came back from a holiday in early September and have rarely been to the gym since, maybe once a week, no diet etc... Today I'm back to it. I want to gain some muscle over the next 4-5 months. At the moment I've lost a lot of definition, so I'm not sure if I should cut for 2-4 weeks, before I begin adding some size?…

A program without bench press
I cannot explain it adequately to you, but for some reason, I am rather scared of bench press. If I did it, I usually went with much lower weights than I could/should have. I am okay with most other stuff, but the problem is that any reasonable beginner program I have seen so far always includes bench press. I have been…

Gaining Weight
Hi everyone! I'm new here. I'm a 27 year old female with a pretty naturally petite build - 107 pounds and 5'4. I'm technically underweight, even though I don't try to be at all. I don't even exercise (other than walking my dog) and I don't even eat that healthy. My story is a little unusual because I have hypothyroid (the…

Building muscle/losing fat/maintaining weight - what % protein do you consume?
Hi, title really says all. For perspective, I am a student-athlete. I will be starting to strength train more heavy in November. This summer and fall my focus was to lose some fat I had gained in the spring (which I have successfully done) and now its time to focus on my strength. I don't want to call it a bulk, but I want…

Recomp on a moderate ketogenic diet - any thoughts?
I've been on a traditional ketogenic diet (30% protein, 65% fat, 5% carbs) since July, 2017, and have lost 46 lbs already (from 245 to 199 lbs, I'm 5'8"). Also, since about Aug 1st I have included two days of fasting (24 hrs of <200 kCal intake). At first, losses were due solely to caloric deficiency, but in September I…

Bikini ready by March...is it possible??
Ok so I’m 12 weeks postpartum, 13 lbs from my normal weight of 124. I have a vacation planned in March that I’d love to feel comfortable in a bikini for. I also have diastis recti (separation between the abs from pregnancy) so crunches, planks, etc are off limits. Is it unrealistic to lose, cut, and tone by then? I’m…

Lifting app?
I've bounced around quite a bit trying to find a good way to log my lifting routine, and can't seem to find one I'm very happy with. Does anyone have an app that's good for logging? I have both an Android and iPhone so either can work for me.

A new start
I have been on a good way 3 1/2 weeks ago. I had been going to the gym and trying my best to get into lifting for about 3 months and felt like I was slowly seeing some results. I had lost weight before, and my weight was on the lower end of healthy BMI (160 cm/ 5'3" or 5'4, between 50 and 51 kg/ 110-113 lbs). Still, when…

How much cardio is too much?
Trying to gain some muscle but I also want to be careful not to gain fat and I want to be heart healthy. I do cardio kickboxing 4x a week and run 3 miles once a week. Not much for most runners but I'm not a runner by any means. Do I need to cut any of this cardio? I also lift 4-5x a week and eat 2400 calories a day. 5'9"…

Gaining Muscle
I have been successful in gaining 6lbs of muscle. I started at 110lbs and now I am currently 116lbs! I'm wondering if I go back to a calorie deficiency in order to lower my body fat percentage can I still gain muscle? If so, any tips? I lift heavy at least 3-4x a week and 1 day of intense cardio. Thanks!

Working out on an empty stomach?
Hey guys, quick question. Is it alright to workout in the morning on an empty stomach? I do have equipment sufficient enough so that I workout at home and also the program I'm following (One of the recommended ones) calls only for a pair of Dumbbells to work with & maybe a bench. One of the reasons is time constraints but…

Mentally stuck
Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation or can offer some sound advice. 2 years ago I was 38, ate poorly, and smoked quite heavy. Let myself go big time, I’m 5ft 8 and then weighed 16st, resulted in high bp, borderline type 2 and fatty liver. So got put on meds. Fast forward 2 years until…

Hi everyone, 28yo male, been lifting a few years on and off. Started at about 125-130lb, now I way 160lb. I want to thin out my face and stomach but build lean muscle. My question is if I should be in a calorie deficit to lose weight or a caloric surplus to add muscle.

Building Mass/Powerlifting
Hey everyone. So I've been weightlifting for about 4 years now, as well as throwing in track and field. Currently I compete in NCAA DIII level. Anyways.. I've never been able to gain much muscle mass beyond a little in my legs/glutes regardless of how heavy/often I lift, and I really want to start gaining real muscle mass…

Ch2-Ready to face the gains!
I started losing weight a while back and lost about 20 lbs over several months. Recently I've been feeling a bit bony and don't want to go any lower. Like a lot of people, I've struggled with the mentality switch from losing weight to maintaining/eating to gain muscle when I've spent months and months choosing the lower…

Squats
Hi! I've always tried to stay healthy, but I'm new to weightlifting. I'm a 31-year-old woman, and right now I'm at about the weight I'd like to be (5'4" and 120lbs). The only weight-lifting I'm currently doing are squats. Twice a week, I do some warm-up sets then 3-sets of 5-reps of my "working set." Right now, that's…

How long can I lift in a deficit?
Hello all, I've read here a lot that it's possible to maintain and even build muscle while eating in a deficit if you are obese (or at the beginning of weight lifting). Im wondering how long that's lasts for? Is it related to body fat %? At what point would I need to be eating at maintenance to build muscle? I started…
