60 Day Streak - 25lbs Down
Today is the 60th day of my current streak since my wife and I made New Year's resolutions to tighten up our diets and exercise at least 5 times a week. We also started drinking green smoothies for breakfast and for some reason that has seemed to be the "x-factor" for me. I quit drinking pop and started working out…

10+ years later, 15 pounds heavier, but waist 1" smaller
I have been on what seems like the never ending quest to weigh what I did before I had my first daughter in 2006. I never weighed more than 129 before I got pregnant with her. For some reason, I feel I will have "arrived" when I get back into the 120s on the scale. I have four daughters now and have gained and lost and…

Week 3 C25K - NSV
This weeks interval is running a minute and a half, walking a minute and half, running three minutes and walking three minutes. I struggled a bit through the previous week. My legs are just sore. So yesterday was day one of week three and I seriously didn't think I would make it three minutes running. My NSV for this week…

A way to avoid the dreaded public database
I have put together these instructions after spending many, many hours trying to figure out how to record in the diary without constantly getting items from the public database showing up. Because this list is created by people from all over the place with many ideas on what the nutritional values are, the quantities…

So, I guess I HAVE lost some weight...
Every summer my two high school girlfriends and I do a weekend vacation somewhere, and we've been doing it for years. Our first one, the one that unofficially kicked off this tradition, was in Washington DC in 2012. I was roughly 215lbs. Here's me, standing in the Plexiglass vestibule of Julia Child's kitchen. Here's me…

45 LBS down in 4 months 30 more to go
It’s time to brag a little... Lost 45 LBS in the last 4 months Started at 240 back in October of 2017 Changed what I eat, how often I eat, tracking what I eat. Oh and now I do more than run to the fridge. I’m in the gym at least 4 days a week often 5 or 6. I travel 100% for work so this all happened in hotels. (See…

Any good meal prep tips?
So I’m doing this thing where I don’t count my calories via MFP but I’m meal prepping and spending longer time in the gym on more days... Since I have heavier hair I’m worried my weight will fluctuate pretty significantly for the next 2 months so I’m also going to try to reduce weighing myself. Wish me luck? And if there…

20lbs lost, 10 more to go?
20 pounds lost so far and although I’m sooo happy to be able to fit into old clothes, I’d like to lose another ten pounds and maybe even tone up after that! Add me and we’ll keep each other motivated!

Hope this is allowed.
Not sure if pictures like this are allowed but it helped me. I have felt for weeks like i'm not moving but I forgot how far I have already come! A horrid photo came up on my memories on facebook tonight just as I was getting ready to go out for the night. We always need to remember this is the long game, not a quick fix.…

Been up and down with the gym getting no where over course of 2 years. Lost a load of weight gained it back again. June I decided to chat to a PT who has taken my training to a whole new level. 103 lbs down and counting
I was overweight as a child and it carried over into adulthood. My anxiety was through the roof and my self confidence was nonexistent. I wasn’t outgoing and always tried to stay in the shadows. One sleepless night I decided that I was ready for a change. A change that was not only for myself, but for my family. I wanted…

Just showered and looked in the mirror!
No pics for this, but I took a shower after a long day, and then walked over to the mirror. I then realized, I no longer have "moobs"! My man boobs are standing on their own, and no droop or sag! 6 months ago, I was at least a C cup! I'm also seeing some definition in my arms! They weights are working! Yeah, I'm excited!

14 months 350+ to 230; size 54 to 36
I started my health recovery journey with a 2017 New Year's resolution to get more active. I didn't have any expectations of accomplishing what I have so far. I am 48yo and have been obese for the majority of my life except about a decade in my 20's. After years of becoming less active and accumulating many bad eating…

Crossed over into overweight territory!
Today I have officially lost 24 pounds since the heaviest I have been in May 2017. Now, I am no longer considered obese and just overweight. I still have a long ways to go, but it is nice to no longer have that label. It has probably been 5 or 6 years since I have been this weight! I still feel like I can't tell I have…

A Year of Muscle Building after 40lbs Loss
