Success is a life long journey...! (graph of weight over past 20 years)
Hi everyone, Played around with graphing this a couple of years ago, just brought it up again today and added my most recent numbers. The weights prior to 2014 were rough figures from points in time in my life that I remember but from 2014 I have been using MFP to track. You can see I went on a pretty serious cut from…

Any Vegan Success Stories?
Hi. Are there any vegans out there who’ve done well trying to lose weight with this app? I’m looking for advice. I eat mostly fruits, vegetables, whole grains. Also I have some bread/junk, but not much of that. What are your meals like, and do you have any tasty vegan treats you can suggest?

On my way
I'm down 25+ pounds, and still chugging along to my goal of 68lbs total loss. I track my weight nearly daily, and while I am sometimes up, sometimes down, the trend line is a slow and steady decrease. I'm diggin' it.

Lifelong struggle
Anyone that has been “heavy” all their life knows what a struggle it is to loose pounds, get fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. For me it’s not about a special diet or secret ingredient but hard work and being responsible. Picture with the pig is 5 years ago when I couldn’t walk two blocks, do 5 sit-ups or imagine going…

My initial weight loss is 31 pounds
I was considering bariatric surgery. The surgeon told me that I had to see a nutritionist. That lady, Jennifer told me that I needed to eat high-protein low-carb foods and use my fitness pal to log all my food and drink intake. I am also logging all my exercise. I started as simple as walking around the Wawa parking lot. I…

I'm half the size I used to be
After nearly three years I've lost half my self. My starting weight was around 110kg. Although, I was so in denial of my weight that I only really weighed myself a few months after I actually started my weight loss journey because I didnt believe the scales were talking me the truth at my heaviest). Now I'm happily 56kgs…

No longer morbidly obese (just regular obese, for now)
I was checking my BMI today to see how much it has changed in a little over a year, and I noticed something interesting. I started in December 2016 at 307 pounds. BMI-calculator.net says I'm Obese class III: morbidly obese at that BMI. After a year of half-heartedly trying (about six months of actual dieting total) I am at…

These original two pictures are from 225 and somewhere around 195 when I had lost 30 pounds. I'm now down to 180 in the last one. I'm not sure I see a huge difference in the last 15 pounds I've lost, but its there, if you squint. I will say I've gone from a size 20 jean to a 14. Next goal is 165 (where my transplant…
