Moments of Iron Will Power
I don't, at the moment, have people in my life I want to share these things with...but I would just like to say: I am so proud that I carried trays and trays of baked goods around my office (dozens upon dozens of every breakfast pastry imaginable) on multiple occasions over the past two weeks and did not sneak a taste.…

People that have or use resistance bands
I was wondering if anyone has ever had good success with using resistance bands whether it's bodylastics or another brand with accomplishing their goals? I'm asking out of curiosity and if you did have good success with them can you share what sort of routine you did and how it helped? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Atkins and Lifting
I was just cleared by my doctor to start "light exercising" after an ankle surgery I can't do much on my feet since ankle is still recovering. While I was recovering 12 weeks ago I gained about 20 pounds since I was not doing any type or exercise. In order to lose the weight I decided I wanted to try Atkins or some type of…

20 lbs since October 2017. Stepped on the scale around my birthday and it said one person at a time. Well. I knew it was time to do something. Cutting carbs snacks junk food and moving around a little more. Setting another goal of 13 lbs. I’ll be back

I just finished my very first week of You Are Your Own Gym's basic workout. I bought the book on a whim because I am cheap and love the idea of working at home using my own body. I am feeling great so far but would love some motivation to keep me going when the new-obsession-euphoria wears off haha Anyone else have some…

Endless chocolate and sweets and now I’m 21 stone. Where do I even begin, how…

My next goal
I set my goals on every drop into the next category of numbers for example 245 to 239 or 230 to 229. I like making it to a new catalogue... it keeps me excited through out my weight loss because " losing 3 or 5 lbs etc happens many times in the course of weight loss but going down another next category only happens once.

For those that have been successful...
I am pretty close to my goal (yay!) and I have been planning for maintenance. I feel pretty confident with everything that I've learned about calorie counting. My question is a weird one...for those who have lost and maintained did you ever hit a period of disbelief? Like...am I really this small now? And did you worry…

100 pounds down ...If I can do it, so can you...
in 2014, i woke up one day and said 'i'm done'. I was tired of being fat, I was tired of hurting, I was tired of being tired... I was done. At the time (as my long time friends on here know), I was caring for my husband, who was partially paralyzed due to a stroke (hes now deceased), was in a *kitten* marriage at that, and…
