Bra size went down from 46K to 40J
Hi everyone, I’m not really counting cals (CICO) bc I’m doing 2 hours of Just Dance every single day and eating 2 good meals a day without eating sugary snacks or just one Mochi, but mostly fruit for dessert, we shop at the farmer’s market. The 2 hours a day is 1 hour when we get up, 1 hour before we go to bed. I find that…

I Am Half The Man I Used To Be...
Hey everyone! You may have seen me post here before on the odd occasion to post my progress and stuff but here's a little about me so far... So back in January 2016 I was your quintessential slob who would call 6 bags of crisp and 4 chocolate bars a 'light snack'. Weighing in at 300lbs with a height of 5ft 8in, I was most…

Thank You MyFitnessPal
Five years ago today I began my journey. Always overweight since childhood it was a constant struggle to try to lose weight. On my 53rd birthday I was getting ready for work and had to come up for air three times while trying to tie my shoes. I sat up and thought I’m going to die early from this. Being an engineer I…

Thanks FitnessPal, 26kg lost in 6 months
My journey started back in 2014, I weighed 121kg (19 stone) and could barely walk up the stairs. Between 2014 and 2017 I tried every diet known to man and some how yo-yo’d my way down to 93kg and then back up to 106kg. In April I started using the app, followed the Tim Ferris 4 hour body philosophy, reduced my training…

Goodbye Pepperidge Farm Double Nantucket Dark Chocolate Crispy cookies. Oh baby, you know you're tasty - and we've sure had fun over the years - but I've moved past you. Don't get me wrong - this morning was fun, especially with that sexy Creamy Jif making our threesome - but after it was done you just laid there, just all…

BMI under 30!
After a loss of 53 lbs, my BMI is under 30 for the first time in 10 years. I’ve never let my weight hold me back, but it’s almost impossible to describe how great I feel now. I’ve exercised as well as I could for years, but my fitness now exceeds anything I had in my 30’s. I’m 53, and looking forward to many more “younger…

Over 130 lbs. lost! A few pics...
These first three were taken Summer and Fall 2015. The last two were taken January 2018. My official starting weight was 311.8 but I topped out way above that. CW 182 lb. GW 167-172? But I am now more focusing on fitness than the number on the scale. I'm turning 41 next week and am 5'9 1/2. My diary is open to friends.

Progress so far! A LONG way to go. Self-sabotage

I'm looking for some motivation to continue. I am one of these people that self-sabotage. Every time I get down to this weigh, I gain again. I question if I'm really…

35 pounds down! 35 pounds to go! Halfway there
It’s taken 6 months...but I’m halfway to my goal. The difference between all of my past failed attempts and this time is staying consistent. Nobody’s perfect. We all have bad days and make bad choices. But when I splurge on pizza now, I stay really on track and focused the rest of the week. By doing this, I noticed that I…

Weight loss FINALLY
A little backstory, I was on Risperdal for my Bipolar I Disorder and irritability and anger while manic. I've been taking Risperdal since 2010? Maybe even before that. As the years passed, more things came up. I didn't really think it was any one thing. Fast forward to 2012. I joined MFP and counted religiously. I lost…

Halfway to goal - how'd that happen?!
Hello MFP! In the last week of July 2017, I finally decided enough was enough...my weight had begun to massively impede my life. Like a lot of folk, I have been overweight since I was a child. I'm 34 & just never bothered to learn what a healthy lifestyle entailed. To me, it looked like a whole lot of effort & a whole lot…
