Another NSV
I was getting tired of floating around in my workout clothing, so I decided to pic something inexpensive up at Wal-mart yesterday. I grabbed some larges and some mediums thinking I will definitely fit in the large, and while the medium might be a little tight, if it was not too tight I would go for it. I tried them on and…

Lowest weight in 3 years!!
This morning I weighed and the scale said 225...while I know I still have a long way to go I officially weigh less than I have in 3 yrs. I remember this because my sophomore year of college I lost some weight and got down to 226. I gained all the weight back plus some, but I am happy to say that this is just one step close…

From 330 to 265
There's not a HUGE difference when your start weight is 330 but there is a difference. Still wearing the same clothes for now but I'm hoping to start going down sizes soon. (the jeans in the second after pic are jeans I couldn't wear before so that's something :) )

not sure if Im happy about this NSV
I am a shoe-holic... I have 200+ pairs of shoes... I LOVE heels... the higher the better... my feet have ALWAYS been odd( never wore same size from left to right) ...after baby #1 I went from 8.5 to 9...after baby #3 I needed 9M on left foot....9.5 on right after baby #4 ( and this is also where I gained 100+ pounds) I…

3 more pounds!!!!
This will be a small victory, but a great one. 3 more pounds and I will be in the overweight classification instead of obese. I had never thought of myself as obese until this past Jan. Now I am in the place where all my clothes are too small or WAY TOO BIG. I know I am not the only one on this journey, but sometimes it…

30 day shred success
When did you notice a difference? What did you notice? Were you using the shred to lose weight, tone or both? I am bored and sick so thought it would be cool to see how others did. I am only level 1 day 5 so nothing yet.

HELP...!!
Hey, I love reading success stories. Reading them helps me realize that I can do this. Im not alone. It helps me realize that when I pass up a mcdonald or some ohter fast food place and I struggle to stop im not the only one. There are so many people on MPF with great and wonderful success stories. I am wondering can you…

Just made a better choice
Just a small success I had. At work they are ordering me lunch today from a sandwich shop. instead of getting a bufalo chicken sandwich or anything fried..i went with a veggie wrap. Didnt even have to think about it really. a few months ago...i would not have made and been happy with this decision.

Measurement Victories!!!
So you're not losing the pounds? Take measurements! Those pesky pounds don't always tell you everything: Since January 1st, I have lost a total of 8lbs. About 2lbs a month, BUT I have lost: 3.75" around my waist (1" above belly button) 4" around my belly button 4" around my lower belly (aka the mommy apron) 1.5" around…

Something I noticed
I've noticed that since starting MFP and excercising that standing tall is easier. I use to always feel compressed...pulled down. Now I feel good when I stand up straight..and my step is lighter. What have you noticed?

Small NSV
Before I decided to start my weight loss journey, I had this pair of jeans that fit when I bought them. But due to gaining a good 8 lbs since then, I could no longer button. That was last Wednesday. Today, I thought, what the hell. I'll try them! And while they're still a little tight, I CAN BUTTON THEM!!! I'm wearing them…

75 pounds gone (with pictures, of course)!!!!
When I started on MFP in September, I weighed 280 pounds. I was not only morbidly obese, I was miserable. I was tired all the time and, although I was only 26, I looked and felt much, much older. Here is what I looked like at the beginning  Here are a few pictures of my progress to get to this point :ohwell: And here…

I ran 2.5 miles without stopping!
The me from three years ago would scoff at my current excitement, but I've let my fitness decline since then. But, today (!!!) I ran 2.5 miles without stopping, and I'm pumped!!!! What have you discovered you can do lately?

35 pounds down, with pictures of course.
I've really been needing some motivation since I don't really see much of a difference when looking in the mirror. I know the weight is gone when I see the scale, but not when I actually look at myself. My journey has been up and down, with my highest weight at 220 and lowest at about 160. I weigh about 185 right now, so…

My NSV!
Today, I went to the gym with every intention of doing my regular Monday routine.. Run a mile - Walk 5 minutes - Run a mile - Walk 5 minutes - Run a mile - Cooldown. After the first mile I was feeling great so decided to push myself to 1.5 miles. That didn't exactly kill me so I figured I'd go the extra 1/2 mile for 2.…

What's the rush?!
Wasn't sure where to post this one, but I figured individuals looking for success stories and inspiration would best benefit from my comments. I've been spending the last 15 minutes taking a break from work replying to other posters, and the last couple have been along the same idea - people trying to rush their diets,…

Must be doing something right!
After talking to the doctor today, I found out the weight I THOUGHT was my highest...turns out was NOT! December 20 2011 appointment I weighed 239. January 10 2011 appointment I was a whopping 246.9!!! :noway: I didn't know because during that last weigh-in I turned my back to the scale. Surely I'm not alone! I did the…
