Fresh kid? Make 'em Shred.
My BF's son has come to live with us because he is as fresh as can be. He is overweight himself but thinks its so funny to make fun of me every time I work out. I do the 30 Day shred. I always say I'll make you do it if you keep it up and he laughs and walks away. Well yesterday he did not and kept going. His dad had him…

Some things are SO worth waiting for!
This is probably my last success story and I know I have posted a couple but this was also a real biggy for me. The 32" trousers and jeans I've been wearing for the last couple of months have gradually been belt-tightened to the point it needed 5 notches. I had to get smaller so yesterday I ordered some 30" jeans and…

Before and After pic (45lb goes bye bye!)
Ok so in my usual non-serious way I present what a 45lb loss looks like. I don't have any body shots until now but you can see from the June pic that I was getting really chunky... In December I started to really go for it and get the weight off for good and my belly was still 6" more than it is now. This was my…

Ha! Take that!
So this is slightly immature, but I wanted to share a little personal victory with all of my fellow MFPers... There is a woman who used to be a very close friend of mine...she is slightly younger than me, and through one way or another we ended our friendship and now she (apparently) loathes me. That's a little backstory!…

HEALTHY!
So my first goal since this whole thing started was to get HEALTHY - literally. I wanted to lose enough weight to fall into the 'Healthy' range on the BMI scale. This morning, with my most recent weight loss (a tiny .2 pounds), I DID IT. My BMI as of today is officially considered HEALTHY! WHOOP! Now just 8.5 pounds left…

HOLY COW!!
I stepped on my scale this morning expecting to see a loss of two, but hoping for three. It was a loss of FOUR! Four pounds in one week! I think actually I lost more than a pound last week, but the scale begged to differ. But my hard work showed up this week!

Lost 10 lbs...and it can STAY Lost! :)
I'm so excited that I lost 10lbs from the middle of March to the middle of April! When I stepped on the digital scale last month, I was speechless - 278 lbs. This morning, it said 268. What a wonderful way to start the weekend!!! This is the first time since 1994 that I can say that I actually LOST 10lbs in a month. Please…

Not much..but yay!
Yesterday was my first day with MFP-and I logged EVERY bite in. I did come over, but it's ok. Now I know where I have to change some things and make adjustments. Yesterday was a VERY long day-and I was a little unprepared for how long it was. Today I have stuff incase I get stuck. I'm proud of myself because I didn't stop…

My hubby said the other day.........
One of my favorite things to do with him (lol, get your minds out of the gutter, people! ) is just go put my arms around his waist and let him put his arms around my shoulders and back, and just stand there, snuggling. Well, I was doing that last week, and he goes, "You feel tinier." I about fell over. He's not one…

Halfway there...
I've just hit the halfway point towards my goal weight (I have lost 20lb in just over 10 weeks) and wanted to say thank you to everyone on MFP for your continued inspiration, humour, wisdom and determination. It's all really rubbed off on me and made the process so much more enjoyable. It's not been easy; what's helped…

I'm scared of maintenance!
I hit my goal a few weeks ago. :D I just switched my profile to maintenance. I has me at 1680 calories a day. This scares me! TBH I haven't been tracking my cal since I hit my GW, but I know it's been around 1200 because I have lost an additional 3lbs. I just eat healthy, and watch portion sizes.:indifferent: I'm…

I got check out by a NORMAL looking man!
Holy crap!:noway:  This morning I had to put on an ALL white jogging suit because I have run out of clothes that fit. This was the only thing that was clean and that didn't hang off of me.....(I bought it 6-7 years ago when I was a normal weight) And the fact that it is all white and still looked decent enough to…

A Year Makes a Big Difference
Well, a year ago I was graduating with my Bachelor's of Arts degree. I was lost, confused, happy, and heartbroken all at the same time. I weighed 193 lbs. I wanted to stay where living where I went to college, since I fell in love with the area (and I was in love with a man there) but because of the economy - things didn't…

-20 lbs halfway! pics!
20 lbs sometimes doesn't seem like a lot but then I remember that's half of what I want to lose! I've never been this organized with my weight loss and I think that's a big part of what's helped me, so thanks MFP!!! I've got pictures comparing to last summer (when I was working out a lot but not necessarily eating…

So nice to hear!!
So along my journey here I have kind of felt like my husband (of all ppl!) wasn't really sharing my enthusiasm for my weight loss, however.........recently a friend of mine toild me she ran into him the other day and he couldn't stop talking about how great I looked and what a wonderful job I have been doing with my diet…

Shopping guilt
Hi, I went clothes shopping yesterday. I'm so happy because I'm down a size, and everything that I tried on fit great. So I bought almost everything I tried on. But I have guilt over how much money I spent. I keep telling myself that I need the clothes for work (which I do, I'm in a new job). And we can afford it (DH and I…

Bye bye!!
It's official I am no longer 200 plus pounds. I'll never have to see a 2 in front of my weight ever again. I'm a onderland fan. I'm super duper freaking excited. 199.6. I'll be doing my under 200 dance all day. Haven't been this small in 10 years. Just wanted to share.
