1 Month Progress
I started my workout journey in early April. I have been working out at home using Chloe Tings, getfitbyivana and Pamela Reifs workouts. Focusing on the ab/butt and cardio. I started with 20 minutes and now do 30 minutes 4-5 days a week and sometimes a 30 minute walk as well. I have lost 5 inches total in my waist/ stomach…

My first 2 Weeks a success!
I have been doing this for two weeks and have lost 5 pounds. it feels really good! It was an encouragement because for 5 days, I haven't been able to exercise much due to a sore back. Then I was sick for about 4 days. I am still not well, but feeling much better. I was so glad I still lost even with a lack of exercise.…

Nearly 4 months in...
[Photo 1: October 2016 | Photo 2: this morning after working out] So I've been logging for 114 days now and am down nearly 42lbs. I'm nearly halfway to where I would like to get to, and being on this board every day for motivation I thought I could perhaps do the same for others. I myself don't really see a difference, but…

I am really excited, I lost 31 inches in one year
I was not really large to begin with. I looked chubby and later stocky. And never thought I will lose this much. Up until last week, I was stressed because I have lost the first 20 pounds but was stuck at a same weight for more than 4 months and was not seeing any progress. I upped my calorie and started training less but…

Well, I've had a bag of clothes that my daughter's outgrown (since she outgrows her clothes ever season :grumble: ) for Goodwill to pick up for awhile. Since they're coming tomorrow I decided to go through my closet too. I'm getting rid of all the clothes I can't wear anymore & I now have 3 large bags full. :noway: It's…

Need insights for calorie count
Hi, It's been one month I have started my journey towards fitness. My aim is to loose 30-35 pounds of weight in terms of weight Mfp has suggested 1200 call each day. But when I add my daily workout which is on average 300 calorie burnout, it allows me to eat 1500. So I want to know what are my fellow ppl following for…

One day at a time
I’ve successfully eaten right and worked out 5 times for a 2 weeks, which is more than I can say for the last 2 1/2 years, so I’m celebrating, even if it’s only 2 weeks.

Wife thinks I'm attractive again 🥇
When you're not you, you don't act like you. I think when you put weight on, the visual has the same effect as the mental. Not just for you. Since I've been losing weight, my confidence has risen, my posture changed and I have a self confidence, which just makes my wife look up & notice. Now I think with the right…

Half Way Success Story
I’ve been struggling with my weight loss for the past month or so with the number on the scale just not going down. It’s been very discouraging. But today I was looking at some progress pics and it really helped me remember how far I’ve come. So I’m posting a success story because even though I’ve felt like a failure all…

MAINTENANCE
The scale has been steady at 170 for 2 weeks. That's with some serious stress eating last week as well. Probably helps that I added more muscle building exercise in about 2 weeks ago. While I will continue to track, I declare goals met.

One Year Ago Today
One year ago today I did something I typically avoided - I stepped on the scale and was confronted with the fact that I was the heaviest I had ever been. Later that day, while flying to a conference, I saw an ad on Facebook for Noom and decided to give it a try. I made small goals and refocused my lifestyle toward healthy…

Plateau is over--I'm finally in the 120s!
I'm 25. Four years ago, I was my heaviest--5'4 and around or over 167 lbs. I lost 14 lbs and stayed at 153 for a few years, occasionally losing a little weight, but never able to keep it off. In September, I decided to make a change for real. I started working out five days a week and eating well, and slowly but surely the…

No Longer Obese
For the first time in some 12-15 years, my BMI is 29.7. I'm just overweight! When I started MFP just over a year ago, my BMI was 44. I was obese class 3 and miserable. I've lost about 88 pounds since then. Just around 40 left to lose, which isn't nearly as intimidating. This time next year, just wait for it.

NSV: Women, Can You Do A Pullup?
I have a goal to be able to do an unassisted pull-up. I am over 50 and female. I would like to hear from women that can do this. What do you weigh? How old are you? Do you have advice for how to train? I currently am working though the P90X weight routines (not Kenpo, yoga, etc.) and do aerobics at least three times a…
