Weight linked to seizures? Anyone else with epilepsy?
I have a theory I'm testing and wonder if anyone else has done this.... I had VERY few (that I recall) seizures up until a Jr. in H.S. when I had one in the middle of auto shop class one morning. (24 years ago, but I recall like it was yesterday! There were only like 5 minutes left and I started getting fuzzy. I'm thinking…

Chobani Greek Yogurt - Seeds in Passsion fruit?
Just bought a new flavor - PASSION FRUIT. Is this supposed to have hard black seeds in it or did I get a bad container? Loved the flavor, but hate the seeds.

Drinking and Diet
I am a fan of beer, and not this ultra-lite no flavor beer, but hoppy, robust, kick-*kitten* beer. The problem is, as I am sure you know, that one of these lovely beers has several hundred calories per bottle! So, in an effort to help my weight loss, I have decided to switch to other types of drinks. You might say, "you…

Protein.. or lack there of
Hello All, I just recently started getting serious with fitness and MFP. I don't have a serious weight loss plan, as I am already within a healthy weight range for my height. I am 5'9 at 133.4 pounds, and plan to be on the lower end around 125-130 pounds. I've been trying my best to control my eating and plan to get back…

Help me understand 'Gluten Free'.
I know that eating gluten-free has health benefits to some individuals. I was under the (perhaps misinformed) understanding that it was just generally 'better' for you than eating products with gluten. My son ate a gluten-free cookie from our local co-op a few months ago and he came up in a rash. I didn't think too much of…

7 more foods to avoid
Where do they come up with these lists? http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/7_foods_that_make_your_liver_glow_in_the_dark 1. Sodium default level
HI Everyone, I've been using MFP for several months, but have never ventured to the message board before, so be kind! I did a search and didn't see the answer to my question, but I apologize if this has been asked before. My question is the sodium "goal" that defaults in MFP. Mine shows 2500mg per day, which it has since…

Silly question
Okay I know it's a relatively dumb question but I don't need sarcastic responses. It's a two parter..... If I follow the MFP and only eat within my calories will I still lose weight no matter what those calories are made up of? For instance, if I ate a healthy breakfast and lunch but then maybe had a cheeseburger for…

Cutting down on sugar
Hi! I have just been doing some research on my diet and have found I am eating over the RDA of sugar every day and I didn't realize this until now! I eat on average between 40 and 70 grams per day sometimes more, and the RDA for a woman is 20 grams. Is this really all that bad? I exercise 5 days a week for 30 mins (circuit…

Anybody know why I feel like this after exercise?
Hi! Not sure if this is the right section, to write this in. Last Saturday night I did about 90 minutes on the exercise bike - burning just over 400 calories. When I finished and washed and went to bed, I got a really anxious feeling. The only thing I can compare it to is that feeling you get when you think there is…

Meat Reduction During Cooking
This morning I put into my slow cooker 32 oz. (exactly weighed) raw 90/10 ground beef. Tonight I pulled out just over 21 oz. cooked. Either my slow cooker has managed a brilliant disappearing trick, or the meat really did reduce to this extreme. I am curious what is the average volume reduction of meat during the cooking…
