The Simple Diet (Dr James Anderson)
Is anyone currently on this diet? I've read his book and case studies from his weight loss clinic. I know it seems restrictive or boring but it's only for those wanting to lose a decent amount of weight (75+ lbs) Supposedly it's quicker weight loss for the first phase of meal replacement shakes and pre packaged dinners (no…

Frustrated with no loss
I have been on my fitness for 13 months. I have stayed on 1200 calories or less, less than 30 grams of fat, at least 60 grams of protein, no more than 25 grams of fiber, and less than 165 carbs per day. I walk a mile several days a week. I can’t seem to lose any weight. This is so frustrating. Does anyone have ideas to…

Starvation mode?
I'm wondering if I'm in starvation mode and that's why I'm barely moving on the scale. I eat anywhere between 1500-1800 calories max. I mean I weigh and measure everything. I Burn 300-400 cals in excercise so most days I'm like 1100-1400 afterwards. Is that putting myself in starvation mode even I'm not trying? My…

Question about my BMR
My BMR is 890 which it says this is the number of calories my body needs just to function, and not to eat either more or less calories daily than this. Surely This can't be right? Or I'm only eating enough calories to literally keep me alive 🤔 my TDEE is 1,200 so this means I need to burn 1,200 calories daily which is…

Exercise calories
I've read that you should eat the calories you burn with exercise and that no, exercise can help you reach your calorie deficit. Which is it? Both sound like they might be true. Would appreciate some insight.

So much conflicting information
I read a lot of weight loss articles and honestly it is confusing. These are some of the examples of things I've read: 1. If you lower your calories too much your body goes into starvation mode. 2. If you eat lower calorie your body gets used to it, once you add calories you gain weight. 3. You need to eat breakfast to…
