Deadlift with octagon style weights

Going to work on recomp..
I want to work on muscle building since I'm so close to my goal weight. Problem is, I'm not exactly sure what to do. Some things I've read up on says to eat at maintenance, weight train for approx 30 mins, and of course, eat less on days you don't train. cals consumed by weight training
when i cycle i use a power meter which in theory gives me a calories consumed number for my effort. how do i put a number on a weights session? do squats typically consume x cals per kg/rep??? how would i factor resistance training in my calories? or should i?
