This is my first ever photo post.... so here.we.go!
I just want to say.... for years I have been concerned about what the scale said... YOU ARE FAT! And many times I would get on here and get super motivated to only gain some weight starting a workout routine... (which we know happens at first). However, that number on the scale always was my kryptonite... regardless of how…

It was success photos here on MFP that kept me going, so I'd like to share my own in hopes it will encourage others who feel like they are facing an impossible mountain. First off, sorry for so much skin haha - I felt that this was the best way for me to really gage my progress without feeling I was hiding anything under clothing. So If you don't mind bras, panties, and an awful lot of fluff-n-stuff, then click the attachment. I'm definitely not finished, but I'm proud of the progress - I…

This made my day last week and I just had to share. I grew up with a very obese mother who had gastric bypass surgery when I was 13. She has struggled with ups and downs in weight since then but is doing amazing. However, much of my life was spent watching her struggle and talk about being fat/overweight/on a diet/etc. I…

Lost most of the weight in the first 5-months, then maintained for about 1-yr & 7-mos. This last month lost 11-lbs. Want to lose about 20 more lbs.

Just keep moving
In February 2016 I was diagnosed as having extreme High Blood Pressure & being Pre-diabetic. I was with a new Family Doctor and actually saw the colour drain from his face as he saw my BP results and he started asking me if I was having any chest pain. Damn, an "Oh Crap!" moment. I was placed on two BP drugs immediately.…

6 lbs to goal
I can’t believe I am typing these words. I am 6 lbs from my first goal weight. It’s been a long time in the making. I started my journey Jan. 2010 at 245 lbs and lost 75 lbs over 3 years. I lost my Uncle and Dad 4 months within one another and gained it back slowly over time. I pulled myself out of that hole on Feb 2016…

Weight loss and less back pain?
I've been experiencing increasing lower back pain lately. It used to be sporadic but now it almost borders on chronic. I have 2 things going on: SI joint pain and a touch of arthritis. I've been exercising all my life and now still do pilates, low-impact cardio and strength exercises. I do however have about 35 lbs to lose…

Non Scale Disappointment
I haven't seen my 'across the street' neighbors in over 2 months. Since that time, I lost 16.4 pounds. The guy says, "Wow! You lost weight. You look like a new person." The woman says, "Yeah, but she still has a big stomach." Needless to say, I felt awful. I still have 16 more pounds until my goal weight.

Needing to get my last 15 pounds off...
I've tried for six months to get my last 15 pounds off and can't. I've hit a wall. It seems my whole body is constantly hungry for the last two months. I've lost my weight over a 3 year or longer process. For whatever reason, what I've done for the last 3 years, is no longer working. Suggestion? Also, would like some…
