Weight loss and less back pain?
I've been experiencing increasing lower back pain lately. It used to be sporadic but now it almost borders on chronic. I have 2 things going on: SI joint pain and a touch of arthritis. I've been exercising all my life and now still do pilates, low-impact cardio and strength exercises. I do however have about 35 lbs to lose…

Non Scale Disappointment
I haven't seen my 'across the street' neighbors in over 2 months. Since that time, I lost 16.4 pounds. The guy says, "Wow! You lost weight. You look like a new person." The woman says, "Yeah, but she still has a big stomach." Needless to say, I felt awful. I still have 16 more pounds until my goal weight.

6 pant sizes down!

Needing to get my last 15 pounds off...
I've tried for six months to get my last 15 pounds off and can't. I've hit a wall. It seems my whole body is constantly hungry for the last two months. I've lost my weight over a 3 year or longer process. For whatever reason, what I've done for the last 3 years, is no longer working. Suggestion? Also, would like some…

Progress to date
I started watching my weight and dieting around mid August when my blood sugar was elevated to say the least. My weight was 224 then and I hit a wall at 210 pounds, Until I spoke to my nutritionist (Katie Moore) on Monday Oct 2nd. I started a strict 1200 calorie a day regimen with a good workout every other day. 3 days…

Almost a year under my belt and almost a third of a way to goal. (47 pounds lost)
I started MFP for the third time on December 30, 2016. That was my anniversary, and I allowed myself to enjoy the buffet we went to to celebrate, but I tracked my food for the day anyway and count it as my first day. I started trying to stay at/just under my calorie goal the next day and tracked pretty faithfully for the…

94 lbs down after RNY 3/16/17
I had weight loss surgery on 3/16/17. It has NOT been an "easy" way out. I have a strict diet to follow and if I don't it holds me accountable. SW-294 CW-200 GW-175

I am down to 206. I don’t know the last time I was this light. I am pretty proud of where I am now and hoping to get to 200 soon. It’s not easy but it’s not as hard as some think. Keep it up everyone.

Lowest weight in 2 years!
I had to share with someone besides my husband the fact that I managed to lose all the weight I gained over the last two years. Between summer of 2015 and this last April, I packed on 17 lbs, and I may have gained more than that since I never looked at a scale. The only reason I even know that I gained that much is because…

New Drivers lic photo just shocked me. 270 pounds lost so far.
Decided to get a motorcycle, added that endorsement to my lic so needed a new picture. The difference between the two photos is a bit dramatic. My old lic photo was taken in 2014 when I weighed right around 497 pounds. The new photo was taken last week and I weighed 225. Long way to go yet, but getting there!!!! Just…

This is a fun one...
Yesterday my hubby was doing the laundry and gave my jeans to my 13 year old daughter to put in her closet. That was never even a remote possibility before this last year. There were many size differences between us. My daughter and I both got a kick out of it and I got a HUGE ego boost!

80lb Down (two years)
Two years and 80lb down. I was never obese until I became pregnant, and had a horrible pregnancy. Water retention was the worst, but I wont lie. . I also loved cereal. My highest weight right before birth was about 275, and it has taken me two years to drop a good bit of the weight. I still have another 20lb before I am at…

First goal met: 30lbs lost and measurement
I finally lost 30lbs and I'm down to 145lbs. I started at 175lbs January 2nd. I prefer the slow weight loss approach. I gave myself 12 months to achieve my weight loss goal. I'm not doing anything special other than counting steps, counting calories and very important being consistent with both daily. I'm short, 5'2" and…

I was too small!
First time in my life, they didn't have my size because I was too small! I have 7kg to go, so went window shopping to find out my size and potentially buy some goal clothes. I fitted size 10 comfortably so wanted to buy size 8, they didn't have any! First time ever they didn't have the size I wanted because it was too…
