Nsv - Pants!
I quit my job at a grocery store back in May. I used to wear size 10 black dress pants. I was jobless for a few months, but focused on taking care of my self. I was quite active and tried to eat well. I joined MFP In the middle of August. I also got a new job. I found size 8 dress pants I had for awhile and was happy to…

New change.
I originally started this because of one picture my son took of me before leaving for Boot camp in the Army. That was in June 2016. I cut my calories, watched what I was eating and started exercising more than just sitting on my butt. I weighed in around 280. When he posted this picture on facebook I knew something had to…

60lb down :)
Hi guys! I thought I would post some progress pictures to celebrate reaching the 60lb mark. All done with calorie counting and exercise (mainly running and walking, although I've introduced weight training as well). The first photo is over three years ago and I have lost and gained a lot (over half back!) over my journey…

Update time
It is now into 2017, and I am continuing to lose. Not a lot of changes from 2016 plan, a few tweaks here and there. I am currently tracking all in MyFitnessPal and printing it out daily. I include some notes and weight tracking. 2017 again has been an up and down re-losing the same weight, but I am consistent in my eating…

Two Years Later (and still going) My Success So Far With Pics
So mine is a rather long story. I have always been over weight, ever since I can remember. The picture above was from when I was about 17 or 18 years old. In the picture is my father and you can see that being over weight was a trend in my family. Therefore, I never had the tools or knowledge to manage my own weight. I…

Halfway through my 126 pound loss goal ! (pics or it didn't happen)
The picture on the left is a year and a half ago, 296 pounds. My goal weight is 170 (my high school weight and a healthy BMI for my height of 5'10"). I'm halfway to my goal with a current weight of 233. Still obese, but feeling so much better! I know that this second half of my weight loss journey will be much more…

2 months 10 pounds lost!
First picture is from a friends party on August 17th 2017, second one is from this past weekend. I defended the first pic by saying to my self that it is just a bad angle. I knew the truth though.. life, stress and job got the better of me. I buckled down, started logging, lifting twice, hot yoga twice and walking 4-5…

Almost at 200 days streak on MyFitnessPal!
I love this app so much. It has kept me accountable and I’m starting to see results! I don’t weigh myself, I just measure my progress based on how I feel and how my clothes fit! My goal is to log on MyFitnessPal for 365 days and then I’ll make new goals for myself. Some advice for others... Look at each day as a new…

From obese to fitness and photoshoots - 14 stone my journey
I was unhappy for months, maybe years, about my weight. I had no confidence and zero self-esteem left before I made the choice to better myself. I found that I was avoiding nights with my friends or even taken trips to go shopping because I became so self-conscious about how I looked. I decided the month before I began my…

1/2 success story....
I'm not a fan of pictures. I never have been. But I made myself take one when I started this so I could remind myself why I'm working so hard. So I'm 30 lbs down, which isn't a lot compared to others here, but it's a big step for me and quite frankly I feel like holding a neon sign up saying so while walking down main…

5 weeks in! :)
I have always been an avid " water" drinker trying to get in the excess of at least a gallon a day. I got in the bad habit of using the drink mixes added to my water. One day 5 weeks ago I cut everything out and ONLY drink water (I do have one small cup of coffee each AM with a Tbs creamer and couple splenda packets) I…

>50lbs - How much and how long?
Hi, I'm trying to give myself some realistic time based goals. I think it'll help me keep motivated. I need to lose 60lbs (60 to top of target, past that I'll decide later). My question is this - how much did you lose, and how long did it take you? Bonus if you didn't do any specific diet (ex keto, pales, low/no carb,…
