I was afraid too... (Picture)
I was afraid to fail. 139.6 pounds lostttt!!! Best part of that, I conquered that doing what I LOVE!!! I was afraid to actually be successful in this journey, but honestly it was the only chance I had to live my life I knew I could live! I failed many times too! I’ve gained weight on a PERFECT calorie consuming…

I am finally a success story! Reduced BMI from 37.9 to 24.4 in under a year (lots of pics inside!)
I have struggled with my weight since early childhood. I will be turning 30 next summer (end of June), and my goal was to be in the best possible shape by the time I turned 30 because, well, my 20s sucked. I'm proud to say that I've gotten there, about 6 months earlier than planned. I didn't think it was going to be…

I lost 214 pounds in 16 months....
....and I feel better now at almost 30 than I did at 18 (top left picture)! No surgery, pills, wraps, or shakes for this girl. Basically I just track literally everything I eat on MyFitnessPal. I've been all over the range of calorie goals, from 1,000 to 1,900. Right now I eat 1,700 calories a day (slowly upping it to…

One Year, 105 lbs, and Zero Seizures.
Hey there! I finally hit my 100 lb milestone and thought I'd share. =) Sorry, this is a little long. Here's a pic: I started working out in August of 2016 in an effort to get my weight under control. It worked pretty well, and I was feeling much better, but I was still having seizures and the medications weren't helping…

What a difference a year makes
What a difference a year makes. Religiously sticking to a 2500 calorie a day limit and doing light weight high rep routines for fitness. Oh, by the way, according to the infinite wisdom of the World Health Organization's BMI at 6'1" and 215 lbs I still rate as overweight!

My 180 day Journey - For inspration :)
I have a full, in-depth story of my journey...but wanted to share the highlights of what I was able to accomplish through using MFP for my food/macro tracking. Before I started the fitness journey, I established a foundation of strength spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I knew I needed that foundation if I wanted…

This last stone has been so difficult and has been up and down since March. I’m officially one pound off losing 98 lbs (7 stone) and finally fit into my skinny jeans (uk size 10). I never thought I could do it but thank goodness for MFP! I would of been lost without it xxx

170LB loss, before and after!
Hey community! My name is Victoria, I’m 25 years old and I’ve basically struggled with my weight since I was a teen. Although I was never drastically overweight, I was always bigger than everyone else growing up. When I was 20 things went drastically down hill and had a rapid weight gain over a span of a year. I got up to…

So I still have a bit to go but I figured now is a good a time as any to make a success story post. Mainly because last Easter was when I had "before" photos from and not long after Easter was when I started using MFP etc So I guess a big part of my success goes to my brother who pushed me to go to kick boxing back in…

One Year on MyFitnessPal (female, 5'8, 82lbs dow, pics)
One year ago I no longer felt comfortable in my own skin. I felt huge, I wasn’t eating as well as I could have, I was avoiding to walk, and sitting still for prolonged amounts of time was very uncomfortable. I was out of breath more often than not, and all my clothes resembled different-coloured shapeless sacks of fabric.…

Height: 5'11" I hit my goal weight today! :^) Thought I'd share because seeing other people's stories has inspired me, and it's nice to know people are on similar journeys. I’ve been watching my macros, and sticking to 1350kcal/day the first 2 months, then I went down to 1200kcal/day for 2 months. I am now slowly…

Hit goal weight...now onto other goals
When I joined this site all I really wanted was to lose the 30lb I had gained back. I’d lost a lot of weight and I felt defeated seeing it creep back on three years after maintaining. I didn’t even realize how much I had gained back until I joined this site and stepped on the scale because I had started wearing yoga pants…

28th Oct 2015 to now
28th October 2015 I entered a gym for the first time in my 57 years weighing 14 stone, feeling old and a bit desperate. Was introduced to a PT who scared the life out of me initially but who eased me into gym life, gave me excellent advice, convinced me that I needed to eat more, and taught me so much more. Two years on I…

Other people's reactions to your weight loss or diet
I always find it interesting when people react to your weight loss. Or when they offer you something to eat and you decline. What are some of your experience with people's reactions? Have any good stories?

I lost 10 pounds in 1 day last week. Bashers, line up...
Last week I had a scheduled check-in. I am not just doing MFP by the power of my own will, I have an accountability situation set up, with check-in's. Being sick for a week, then throwing out my back, I knew all month I would miss this one, and the stress was accumulating. By check in time, I was 9 pounds over. My plan was…

I was a senior in college and would get out of…
