My progress
I haven’t been completely consistent, but after 8 months, I’ve lost 15kg, and most of that was towards the start of tracking calories. Don’t have an unhealthy relationship with calorie counting, it can be dangerous. I was eating 20-200 cals per day just to try be skinnier. Stick to a reasonable deficit and don’t destroy…

Nutrients and energy levels
Eating right to gain nutrients has changed my energy levels. Love the way the App extract nutrients from food. Also started developing awareness of potassium levels. Implemented regular supplement to up my potassium levels. Not sure if there is scientific link but can say that my afternoon tiredness have disappeared.

Women 5'4 - 5"5 with results + Pictures
So while I was going through the success stories today, I noticed a couple threads that were awesome and great for visual motivation. These were success posts of women with height of 5'0 - 5'3 and 5'6 - 5'7, though I am close to these heights, it would be great to see results and read on success of those "closer to home".…

Won my January fitness challenge
Hey y’all. Didn’t think this was going to happen but I won my January fitness challenge at my local gym. I lost 8.4% body fat and having a consistent routine around dieting played a big role in that. As a bonus they rewarded me $1000 so that helped with some added motivation.

1 year, Lots Learned, 62lbs Down (Progress Pic)
A year ago I decided it was time to start. I was in a big calorie deficit and lost a lot of weight at the beginning. Then I found a coach who taught me about macros and how to exercise regularly - what a change! After 3 months of working with that coach, I felt like I was on the right track but wanted more. So I changed…

Down 10 pounds this month!
I had been doing WW on and off for the past year or so. Recently started tracking in MFP instead and have been amazed. I feel like I can eat so much more. Point values for sweets are so inflated on WW. With MFP, calories are calories. I am trying to watch my macros as well… I’m learning so much more about nutrition in…

Intermittent fasting
Been on 16:8 intermittent fasting and calorie countingfor 4weeks nowand lost 11lb. My only concern would be the number of calories at approx 1200 daily. I was always a grazer, constantly snacking during the day, always hungry. With my present routine I don't feel the need to eat so often and feel really comfortable with it…

Success Story
Hey everyone. So my success story is in 2021 I saw a pic of myself that made me think… others who I showed thought I didn’t look that bad but this pic made me evaluate my health rather than dismiss it. It was how I was rough I was feeling on the inside. I realised that if I was struggling to get up stairs without being out…

Achieved my weight loss goal.
I’ve just achieved my weight loss goal and have gone down from 162 lb to 125 as of this morning. I joined MFP on 1 May last year and have found the whole process much easier than I expected. I’m confident I can maintain my new weight. The only drawback is having to replace all my clothes….. 🙂🙂 Apologies for the selfie but…

Hi All, I’ve been a MFP member since about 2012 and have gone up and down with my weight for the most part. All of the posts in success stories always gave me motivation, especially the ones with before and after photos so I decided to post mine even if it helps motivate just one person. Been maintaining for almost 8…

100 pounds finally gone! Photo.
I did it! I can finally say I’ve reached 100 pounds lost. Each pound leading up to this goal was, of course, great, but each pound I lose now becomes something I’ve never been able to say before. “101” “105” etc. each pound lost now is so exciting! Don’t give up. Im here to absolutely prove that you can do this too!

40kg down!
Hi all, I just wanted to do this post as I'm really proud of myself. The last six months haven't been the best and I've fallen off the wagon a lot in that time, but I got back on it, worked through a month-long plateau and I'm finally shifting the weight again. I can't describe how happy I am that the number is going down…

I’d love/need before and after pictures of around 150 pound loss.
I could really use the motivation! My goal is a 150 pound loss. I could probably lose more, but will be thrilled to hit 150 pound loss. I’m super conscious about loose skin, but I guess being able to hike, play sports, and buy clothes anywhere again will be worth it! Please share your before and afters of anywhere around…
