My big non scale vicotry!
Today I was shocked to put on a size 18 jeans and they fit perfectly! Not even an 18W. Just a regular size 18. No more size 24W for me. 93 pounds gone and 61 more pounds to go.

Just 2 more pounds to go!
I am quite pleased with the results I have had using myfitnesspal! Just 93 days, and 42 pounds, ago I had set a goal of weighing less than 300 pounds by the new year. I am currently at 301 pounds, and I am certain I will reach my goal with time to spare! Tracking my food intake has given me the edge I was missing. I also…

Started about 6 years ago and was consistent for about 2 years
As the title says I started about 6 years ago and I lost roughly 40 lbs at that time. In the last 2 years with everything going on in the world and not to mention my personal life I let my health/weight go and here I am back at it to get back on track !

Doubts
I have been trying to lose weight for 3 years. I am on the verge of being overweight but not obese. No serious health concerns caused of my weight (slightly high cholesterol is all), and I realized that being only mildly overweight is killing my motivation at night. I have discovered when I reach for the bowl of cereal at…

Long Term Success Stories
I see a lot of "I've Achieved my Goal Weight" posts.. and I see some "I'm back to where I was" posts. I'm curious to hear some long-term maintenance success stories? i.e. "I lost ___ lbs and have kept it off for __ years"

Is back again after 2 months 😆
Just sharing. My weighing scale is broken so I don't know if I've lost or gained some 😆 But my friends told me I should stop doing whatever I'm doing and just maintain. 😁I know it's kinda late but Happy New Year everyone. ❤️

Big NSV for me!
I am severely overweight, in small part due to thyroid issues that need to get resolved. Unfortunately, I began having gallbladder attacks a few months ago, which are NO JOKE. Honestly, this weight loss journey was really kicked off for me because I wanted to be free of pain, and not because I cared about the weight loss…

And so I decided I needed to do…

Best shape of my life at 47 y/o!
Hello folks! I've been exercising regularly for years, but my nutrition massively derailed in last winter due to depression. I stopped logging on MFP and ballooned to 164 lbs at 5'3". Over the summer I decided I'd had enough, and got serious. I'm now down to 129 lbs and back running and strength training 4x a week. Logging…

I didn't hit my goal but exceeded my expectations!
On December 22, 2021, I made myself a promise. I would try to lose weight and get healthier. I felt defeated and down. I weighed 363 pounds and putting up the Christmas tree was a task that I could no longer do. I was too big, too immobile, and perhaps too old. I wanted to lose weight and hoped to be under 300 pounds by…

50 lbs lost (before and after)
Thanks to my wife for taking the after pic in forgiving light and indeed persuading me to get in front of a camera in the first place. I have no shirtless before pic because I refused to take one. I started my weight loss and body recomposition journey in December 2019, weighing in at 216 to 218lbs. For the first 26-27…

2022/2023 Healthy Goals
In July 2022, at my highest weight of 221 lbs I made a promise that I would make changes in my life. I turned to my son a 4th year medical student for advise. He Said, mom is all about what you eat. I got my blood work done and we sat down to work on a new healthy way of eating. The results showed that I need it to cut all…

The Heaviness of Grief and Trauma- Healing is possible!
Hi everyone! The past couple of years have been really tough. I lost my mom to Leukemia in March of 2020 along with a whole lot of other host of difficult things happening. Positive notes-I have: 1. Become aware that I have used food as a comfort since I was very young 2. Continued therapy to address grief, depression, and…

Fit Bit steps-not sending to my Fitness Pal
Can anyone help?

Wanting to share my victory
I've been on my My Fitness Pal journey for almost four years. It took about six months, but I dropped 35 pounds (from 210 to 175) and have kept it off ever since. In fact I weighed in at 174 this morning. I haven't done anything special, just tracked my food as diligently and as honestly and accurately as possible. Frankly…

The_Fat_Optimist – This Time weight loss is a side effect
40.8 lbs down. I am proud of myself but I also realize there is much more where that came from. Too much maybe? Whenever I get too excited, I sit down and look at myself in the mirror. It pulls me back down to earth. I am still all belly, triple chin, no neck, lots of extra fat on my back, almost like a hump. I am super…
