3 Years Vegan (Before and After pictures!)
Today was my vegan anniversary and I am so happy I made this choice 3 years ago! Starting Weight: 225lbs Current Weight: 138lbs Starting size: 24 Current Size: 2 To be fair I lost most of my weight from January of this year until now because I really focused my diet on Whole Foods and began lifting heavy!

Down 65 lb in what feels like a lifetime
The second picture was 3 years ago, 6 weeks after giving birth to my son. It was the day I decided to start working towards where I am now, in the last picture. The first pic was about a year later. Not much different. The last pic = a 65 lb difference, in a whole 3 years. Sometimes I feel like I haven’t changed at all,…

Question for success stories...how else have you leveled up?
See avi. I've lost quite a bit of weight before getting on MFP about 10 days ago. Weight loss required me to get new clothes. Since I no longer needed to shop in the plus size, my fashion has gone way up. And since you need nice shoes to go with your nice shorts, you now need nice toes that those nice shoes show off, etc.,…

90% there...!
Hi folks - I've been super impressed and motivated all the transformations on here, so I thought it was time to add my own modest story. Hope it's of some small use to someone else! I was always chubby, ever since I was about 6 or 7 - I'm now approaching 30, and until this year I never really knew what it was like to be…

9 months Whole Food Plant Based - 75lb loss
I started my journey on a whole food plant based vegan diet back in January. I’m 5ft 4 and was over 200lbs. 220 to be exact. I was depressed, anxious, nauseated and just overall felt awful, all the time. Long story short, I cut out all the animal products, dairy, sugar, processed foods and 80% of all oils. I cook all my…

I started in earnest on my new eating journey on Valentine's Day this year. So far, I have lost 69 pounds. Didn't really feel it was real until I got my new school ID. Wow! Side-by-side with last year, what a difference! I'm so happy!

From 260 to 180. I like lifting heavy things and crushing my goals 💪🏾
It blows my mind that it's been over 7 years I've been doing this. I once read that most people who lose weight start gaining it back within 3 years without continued diligence. So, that was my goal. Get it off and keep it off. And, even though I lost a lot of the weight and exceeded my own expectations, it feels like this…

Never Give Up - 21.7 Kgs (47 lbs) down & 18.7 Kgs (41 lbs) to Go
It's been a long journey for me, 10 years of struggling with weight issues. I often lose weight, get a little confident, and become too complacent and it all comes back plus more. This year I suffered from depression and financial issues which sent me to the brink of losing hope in life. I just wanted to hold on for my son…

type 2 is gone
I've had my share of health issues in the last couple of years. a stroke, type 2, well, that's enough. luckily my brin is too weak to kill me, so i survived. I've spent the last 4 weeks getting off type 2 meds and reversing my type 2 diabetes. It took 4 weeks, but i did it. boom! no more pills or shots. sugar was 101 this…

365 Days of Learning
My Husband and I have a little joke between us... Every night, I go home and ask him “Rusty, what did you learn, today?” and he will tell me whatever outrageous nonsense he has found while searching the internet... but, for the last year – he could have asked me the same question – and I could have answered with something…

Pregnancy 10 years apart
The picture on the left was me at 24, pregnant with my first and I ate like I was eating for two. I didn’t workout and I was tired and had bad swelling my whole pregnancy. The picture on the right is today at 34, pregnant with my third (and a girl!) eating healthy and still working out 4-5 days a week. I’m so proud of…

One month difference
Hey all! Just wanted to stop by and leave a little motivation. These 2 pics are 29 days a part. This is the result of 1600 calories and 50 grams of carbs a day as well as 20 minutes of cardio and about 25 minutes of weight training 5 days a week. Super excited for this progress! There is a 15 lb difference here.

I lost 50 lbs in 12 months - here's my story
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing OK. This is my first post here and I thought it would be appropriate to share my story with you, for a start. I'm happy I came across this community because it's always great to meet like-minded people or, to be precise, people who are battling the same issues you're battling yourself.…

First post and finally hit 50 pounds loss
I haven’t talked a lot about what I have been doing because I truly hate this emphasis on thin=worth in our society. But since January 2017, I have been religiously logging my food in the free app My Fitness Pal. I don’t have a Fitbit or Apple Watch so I just let the app count my steps. This spring I added Map My Walk and…

Time to
In May this year I did an online health assessment. I was honest. One of the results was my ‘health age’ of 69. I was 56 at the time! After 2 days of just saying ‘rubbish’ I decided to get my head out of the sand. I set-up this app, completely changed my diet (wholefoods and cut out ‘junk’) and began to use other data…

Lost 115+ in 2.5 years with Hypothyroidism and PSVT.
On June 22, 2015 I had a doctor’s appointment just to update my vaccinations and I was 281.13 pounds according to the records. Since I did not monitor my weight at this time it’s the only starting point I have. Sometime in September 2015 I decided to just try to do 10-15 minutes of walking on the treadmill that was sitting…

Throwing away my scales for a better life
Good morning, community friends! Today I decided to hibernate my scales for a while. I have a training plan, I've learned everything there is to learn about my body and how I can keep it healthy... Now I need to focus on my brain. I am tired of waking up and wandering over to the bathroom scales and wincing at an apparent…
