What causes pain in my sides when I run? Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. Just curious...I typically do a 45 minute workout a day, they very. But when I do my workout DVD (jullian Micheals, Teabo, etc.) they are about 40 minutes and I typically burn about 400 calories (according to HRM polar f6) My question is why would every once in a while I burn 525. I've noticed that about 20min into my run I get heartburn, whats with that? Does anyone else experience it? What causes it? Next time, I'm going to take a couple antacids before starting but thought I would ask you guys first!

broken toe
I broke my toe about a week ago. It feels a little better but I'm still not sure if I'm ready to get back to the gym. Does anyone know how long I should wait untill getting back to my regular workout? I usually run about 5 miles twice a week and hit the gym for strength training 3 times a week.
